He was a founding member of the group but left in 1966 before the addition of Burton Cummings and the groups string of well-known hits in the late 60’s and early 70’s. May he rest in peace.

Allen was the lead singer on “Shakin’ All Over”. Guess Who’s first hit. Rush frequently used the song in his bumper rotation.

She’s comr undone was one of my favorites by Guess Who.
It has that light, jazzy cadence that was commonly heard back then. Jazz with melody used to be a part of mainstream music, far more than it is now.

Samaritan Woman!!
