1. Spam Calls
Spam calls may see a decline as baby boomers dwindle. People have become more tech-savvy and have access to advanced call-blocking and filtering technologies. Additionally, regulatory efforts and increased awareness are aimed at reducing spam calls, making it less likely for future generations to experience the same level of nuisance and intrusion.

“Actually loss of cooking very much could happen. There are lots places in the world where apartments don’t hsve kitchens. It’s happened before. Most Romans (living in Rome Romans) couldn’t cook, it was all about street vendors. “
It’s possible, but current zoning generally doesn’t allow it.
I think what is more likely is that another extended economic Depression like the 1930’s, and people learn to cook because they can’t afford anything else.
Also, canning and vegetable gardens could make a comeback as well. They had a big surge during the 1930’s.
Lenin said that weeks can last for decades, and decades can happen in a week.
Similarly, some years are longer than others.
1913
Federal Reserve created
Direct election of Senators
Income Tax
1965
Birth Control Legalized
Voting Rights Act
Immigration and Nationality Act
I don’t think we can blame 1965 on the Boomers. The oldest was 19.

This One thing I Do...
I’m getting serious about being remembered in Jesus soon coming Kingdom.
Perhaps we should concentrate on That reality.
Seek ye First the Kingdom...
That implies Way Past Salvation.
You are right. And that’s why they can’t wait for boomers to die.
True. But it was the boomers who made them famous. They’d all even admit that.
True that.
At least half of those things are pretty much gone already. Video rental stores? VHS tapes? Fax machines?
I believe it was the Greatest Generation that watched placidly while Germany re-armed and Japan enslaved Asia.
Not sure what you mean by that or why you even mentioned it.
I assume that they started their success like the bands I have known, playing for their peers locally and making it in the bars and nightclubs locally, nationally, and so on, and of course, once they were successful, expanding their fan base with albums and TV appearances, and then more expanding as time went on.
I don’t think they made it without having first appealed to their own generation or why that had anything to do with my post.

Look at his showtunes type posting history.
“This is an online gathering place for independent conservative news and discussion.”
If you’ve read any comments, you’ve seen that there are are a lot of definite conservative thoughts and ideas being discussed on this thread. It’s the perfect topic for that.
“people learn to cook because they can’t afford anything else.”
Except that it’s so expensive to buy the basic ingredients for cooking meals.
Like sewing clothes. It used to be thrifty to make your own clothes. Now it’s not, due to the high cost of fabric and notions.
“photos of my Grandfather and his brothers, dressed in bowlers, woolen jackets and ties, just back from hunting”
My family on both Mom and Dad’s side were farmers. Exactly like you posted, I noticed that the men wore ties when they weren’t working. My uncle still did that well into his 90s; it was everyday attire.
“Boomers are just narcissistic, stupid, and greedy whiners. They shall not be missed.”
At least we learned grammar and the proper use of “shall” vs “will”.
“the traditional rule of future tense says that shall is used in the first person (I, we) and will is used in all other persons (you, he/she, they)”
Did anyone ever BUY ANYTHING from a spam call or email?
\**********
Seems like both keep growing so somebody must be buying.
It’s so hard to believe, isn’t it?
Since it doesn’t cost anything to do it, that one out of a thousand or even 1 out of 10,000 successful calls is profit.
For me that makes them all the more annoying, we don’t matter and no one is even involved, a machine is putting us through all that interaction of dealing with the interruption.
It is a little like having someone sneak by and ring your doorbell 5 or 10 times a day, every day, for the rest of your life.
