I sent this book to my sister who has the same problem. All her oncologist wants to do is give her more expensive chemo which is only killing her and doing no good. This recent book explains in great detail with references and links alternatives and almost 900 actual studies. Dr. Marik has produced a true masterpiece for those not on the Big Pharma cancer $$$ bandwagon!
————

Thanks for information on the book. I would have loved to have had it when I was first diagnosed.

I know how your sister must have felt. By my 4th chemo treatment, I was done with it, but my oncologist insisted that the cancer would come back and he wanted to do a 5th treatment to try and prevent it. He also said I’d need to keep (the hated) port in for the rest of my life so I could continue chemo.

I asked how long the rest of my life would be and he said 6 months. That’s when I put my foot down and told him I Would Not consent to further chemotherapy and that be Would place the order for port removal.

I do not consider being weak and immune compromised for three weeks and more each month as a way to live. I depended on Gods Will for my life. He can heal with or without continued chemotherapy.

That was six months ago. No cancer, no port. And now a book!

Than you,

KC

That is great news!

My sister has been a cancer patient for years, as is a son-in-law who recently "fired" his oncologist and is now getting alternative treatments through the VA (they don't get paid the big $$$ for using chemo so are more flexible, IMHO) and he seems to be doing well.

I have been trying to get my sister to try other alternatives for her Stage 4 cancer. But every time she brings up my suggestions to her oncologist on alternative treatments, he says they are not "studied" or "proven" enough, and she goes back to the chemo as she "trusts her doctor". Chemo isn't working well. She just gets worse.

About 6 weeks ago she almost died and ended up critical in the hospital. However, she recovered and is back home. My opinion is the reason she lived is the chemo (poison!) stopped. Now she is going back on it again. Go figure.

As far as I'm concerned this is just another medical scam and not a cure. It is terribly frustrating to watch this go on. I recommended Fenbendazole with another treatment plan to go along with the chemo but the doctor Poo-Pooed it - not enough "studies". So, I sent her the book but she hasn't gotten it yet. I hope she reads it or maybe her husband will. Let her doc argue with Dr. Marik?

I'm done.

***By my 4th chemo treatment, I was done with it ... I asked how long the rest of my life would be and he said 6 months***

Perhaps you have already seen postings here for a few years about fenbendazole, a dog de-worming medicine - I am told available at Tractor Supply without Dr or Vet prescription and cheap. I posted on this back around the time COVID started. The National Institutes of Health does not seem overly supportive but there is much internet buzz about it.

There is a reformulation of fenbendazole more effective in humans, Mebendazole; that requires a prescription and may be a bit more expensive. Wikipedia says of Mebendazole:

Several studies show mebendazole exhibits potent antitumor properties. mebendazole significantly inhibited cancer cell growth, migration, and metastatic formation of adrenocortical carcinoma, both in vitro and in vivo. Treatment of lung cancer cell lines with mebendazole caused mitotic arrest, followed by apoptotic cell death with the feature of caspase activation and cytochrome c release. Mebendazole induced a dose- and time-dependent apoptotic response in human lung cancer cell lines, and apoptosis via Bcl-2 inactivation in chemoresistant melanoma cells. The anti-cancer effect of mebendazole comes from preclinical studies and case reports
Obviously there is no endorsed set science. The furor started when a Joe Tippens published a magazine article about 2018 about curing a diagnosed terminal lung cancer case. I have the original article on my main computer but cannot access it from my tablet or find it in a search. However, here is a link to his personal web page.

I know of no one on FR who has reported trying the remedy with success, although it has received considerable attention. I can only add that it is a cheap dog de-worming med and not likely to cause any harm. Someone facing terminal outcomes to their infection would seem to have little to lose.

Good luck and God bless!

And where was I reading recently that oncologists have the dubious distinction of being the only MDs who are directly commissioned salespeople for Big pHARMa?

I am praying for your recovery, KittenClaws!
