I told my husband that I probably lost my voice because God may have wanted me to quit being a smart mouth! Now I have to listen more than talk, and when I talk my words have to be pithy and with meaning. It is hard for peaople to listen to a whisper for too long, so short and sweet is what I do.
Obviously, my lack of verbal ability has led to the run-on sentence! LOL !
In ALL things give thanks. As the Bible says we do not know the mind of God.
