They could just make cars with keys again like they used it. So yeah, it kinda is their fault.

Keys and locks can be defeated., Most modern cars have a RFID chip in the key or fob that has to match the code stored in the computer before the car will start, but Kia made it so simple that you could defeat the ignition lock without tools, no RFID-computer interlock.

The only thing I really don’t like about the Mazda is the key-fob

Actually the problem is these cars do have keys. They lack any other anti theft device.
