FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - One Kia owner got so fed up after his car was stolen he decided to dump the vehicle off at the dealership where he bought it and walk four hours back home.
On Monday, Behrouz Alimoradi said someone stole his Kia. The incident happened in Federal Way.
Alimoradi said police found the car. But as it sat parked in the driveway, he says someone came back and smashed out all the windows.
"I’m tired, you know. I swear I’m tired about this car," he said.
Alimoradi says in two years, he has dealt with four different incidents involving this car. He says he’s paid thousands of dollars out of his own pocket to get the vehicle repaired, but this most recent incident is the last straw.
"This situation is too much bad. I don’t want it," he said.
Alimoradi says he was so upset with the situation that he dropped his Kia off at the dealership and walked about four hours back home.

I wonder how many Kia owners know what “KIA” means in a military context?
A software upgrade addresses this.
Criminals started taking a hacksaw to the steering wheels, rendering the club useless. Especially with battery powered tools. Same reason catalytic converter thefts became more common.
The problem isn’t Kia. The old style key technology has been in use for over 100 years. The problem is liberals not locking up criminals as they know they won’t be punished.
KIA stands for KI or “To Rise From” and A or Asia
OK, thanks.
We’re giving them CARS?
Solution: Don’t live where the car stealers live. We have Kia’s everywhere and they don’t get stolen
Like horse thieves, car thieves should be hung on the spot
Dead men can’t steal cars
Car thief lives don’t matter
Chevy “Nova” didn’t sell in latin America. “Nova” means “no go” in spanish.
What idiot would steal a Kia they look like what the name could stand for.
Killed
In
Automobile
Your going to get the same time if you steal a KIA or a Rolls Royce.
IIRC they were, don’t know what they are doing now besides pissing away OUR MONEY.
“Nova . . .”
However “Avon”, its reverse anagram sells well, I bet.
LOL.
You have proof of that?
Link?
vERY GOOD!
A couple of years ago when the “TikTok Kia boyz” was getting started (in St. Louis??) I rigged up my Hyundai with two kill switches to keep it from being started. Added a “Club” as a visual deterrent to hopefully avoid the broken window and torn-up ignition.
I still need to get it in to fix the security problem, and I think there is an air-bag recall on it too. Last I checked it was a 6-week wait for an appointment at the dealer.
Google for more or duckduck
that’s disturbing...
thanks for the info.
