Two of these passed over our house a few min ago. Very slowly and the motor sound was very loud. Obviously they were big.
I live near the Arizona National Guard Papago Park Military Reservation and so I'm sure it came from there. We do get some interesting craft from there overhead at times.
I'm just curious. What is it carrying? It looks like a bomb but I am guessing that it isn't. ?

They flew a few of those over our house once, too. I did take pictures of it back then and I think I put them on FR but there is no way to go through all my posts here. I wish we had a better way to look things up more specifically.

Could be. But I stand with apache because I can see 4 blades on the main rotor. Cobras/sea cobras only have 2 main rotor blades.

the Marines when I was in called it the "flying sh!tter" which was better than the CH53 which was called the crowd killer (when it falls out of the sky it kills a crowd)

Well good eye on the skids. You’re right. I think maybe its a Hind. From underneath the Hind looks most like the pic posted. I know we have some Hinds but I didn’t think about it.

I never liked that d*mn thing. Lost a few friends while they were beta-testing, so it doesn’t surprise me.
