I like Carson. I think he’s pretty honest.
I even supported his decision to buy that table, because I know furniture needs to be replaced and he abusing the system.
However, as a politician, I think he’s an underperformer who could not make the arguements that need to be made. A cabinet position, especially that one that will be used to replace Obamacare would be more suitable.
I have always liked and largely respected Ben Carson, but I was disappointed when he tried to run for President. He wasn’t, and has never been Presidential material.
I think he would be, if he was loyal to the plans of whatever President he served under (which is his JOB as the VP, to execute the plans of the President and support him as long as those plans align with the guidelines of the Constitution)
I hope not. Carson is a good conservative, but he’s not a strong communicator. Too shy, verebral and by nature, very introberted. An articulate (thkugh stupid) Dem like Gavin Newsome woulf walk right over him, and likely control any debate.
Trump probably will go for somebody with sharp teeth, like Tucker.
I think he’ll pick some female the left purely hates. One that’s very mouthy and stands up for true American values. Maybe Kari Lake or MTG might work. Both of these women have something Harris doesn’t, which is brains. I think American women would readily see the difference and be willing to vote for one of them.
Kristi Noem is great, but she does not have the internal fortitude for 24/7 hostilities towards her.
As far as Carson goes, his personality is too smooth, he’s too polite.
I think this would be a mistake. It has to be a female in order for the mom vote to go his way. Otherwise we will see a repeat of 2020.

Ben Carson is a good guy but he would not win the POTUS job in 2028.
President Trump needs to pick a strong leader that will carry on his work, be loyal and win in 2028.
Since there are no strong and loyal leaders in the Senate or the House, someone like Kari Lake would be a good candidate.
I like Dr. Carson, but he doesn't add to the swing state variable.
Ben Carson would have been a great president, but the problem is he’s just too relaxed. Donald Trump was a fighter, and he wasn’t afraid to strike back at the leftist bullies.
A president and vice president both over age 70 would seem very unlikely.
