'His War' is Andrey Zakharov's historical investigation into Vladimir Putin and the war he unleashed in Ukraine back in 2014. For ten years now, journalists from around the world have been gathering evidence on how exactly this war began. In this film, we have compiled all the evidence together.
This includes wiretaps of conversations among Russian officials and separatists, email leaks, and most importantly, confessions from the participants of the 'Russian Spring.'
Why did Putin specifically provoke the Euromaidan? How did the Kremlin prepare for the annexation of Crimea? And why did Russia's intervention in Ukraine's internal affairs become the main cause of the war that started in 2014? Find the answers to these questions in the second film of the Proekts’ series, 'Based on Real Events‘

This one might be of interest to the people who are convinced - mostly because Russia itself says so, rather than because there's any actual evidence of it - that NATO or the USA provoked the war in Ukraine.
This independent Russian investigator demonstrates (with evidence, unusually for anything coming out of Russia) that
1. the victory medals for annexing Crimea were minted before Maidan, and even had a date stamped on them pre-dating Yanukovych fleeing to Russia. So when Russia said it was responding to a color revolution or coup, they'd already stamped a future date on a bunch of commemorative coins. Poor old Lavrov has been challenged on camera about this, and blames it on technical difficulties. https://youtu.be/4fHbJL_mZUc?t=1250
2. Turns out one of the key architects of the Crimean takeover is a revanchist empire buff (a bit like Dugin) and associate of Igor Strelkov, who said in an interview again on camera, that Russia didn't want to take Crimea for the true reason for Maidan was Ukraine polls showing that the customs union was being rejected in polls despite multiple attempts by Putin to blackmail Ukraine out of EU accession.
3. The plot to force Ukraine into the Customs Union and CIS has been confirmed by a high ranking official in the FSB, who it appears may be lining up to do in Moldova what he'd already done in Ukraine. (https://youtu.be/4fHbJL_mZUc?t=504)
4. Russia's economic blockade of Ukraine in 2013 was blackmail, pure and simple. https://youtu.be/4fHbJL_mZUc?t=651
5. While the takeover of Crimea was largely possible due to large Russian military presence, Russia had no official presence on the mainland. The Crimean administration orchestrated the growth of separatist groups elsewhere in Ukraine, and had funding to do so. https://youtu.be/4fHbJL_mZUc?t=2021
6. But the four Oblast takeover was a screw up. The pro Russian lot were a loud minority who didn’t have what Crimea had .. Russian army on the ground. (https://youtu.be/4fHbJL_mZUc?t=2177) They even admitted that without Russian troops to back the separatists the protests would’ve died out. (Watch around https://youtu.be/4fHbJL_mZUc?t=3000)
This is a long video, but it is forensic. I urge anyone who actually believes the evidence-free pony about NATO expansion but doesn't believe Ukraine at all, watch this. As pointed out here (https://youtu.be/4fHbJL_mZUc?t=3286), this investigation doesn't rely on Uke or NATO sources. It is drawn directly from written, recorded or videoed conversations between key Russian actors AND some of the information here isn't just intercept. Brilliantly, some of the facts here are actually being published by the actors involved, in their own memoirs.
How’s life in Britian?
We started it by the CIA working with Ukrainian oligarchs to overthrow Yanukovych.
Where is this “Britian”?
Lee Harvey Oswald was just a really good shot, trained in the Marines (Semper Fi!) who was able to get off 3 shots, and 2 head hits, in 6.2 seconds, with an old department-store bought Italian rifle, from a distance of 265 feet, at a quickly accelerating target moving away from him.
Happy to know that Russia had nothing to do with invading Ukraine. It was all America’s fault.
Showed what one motivated Marine and his rifle can do.
“Showed what one motivated Marine and his rifle can do.”
He couldn’t have done anything without the help of the CIA scum. The “marine” was taken down shortly after like the pussy he was.
>Happy to know that Russia had nothing to do with invading Ukraine. It was all America’s fault.
Well, we were paying Neo-nazis to shell and shoot ethnic Russians civilians in Ukraine at the same time...
“We started it by the CIA working with Ukrainian oligarchs to overthrow Yanukovych.”
Bingo. Our bioweapon labs close to the Russian border didn’t help any either.
That lie again?
>That lie again?
...bolt-action...
And where in that article is there any mention of the Azov Battalion deliberately targeting ethnic Russian civilians?
As for them being “Nazis”, it takes more than a flag. Whether you like it or not, Nazi symbols in Ukraine have taken on the meaning of defiant opposition to Soviet/Russian aggression, not that of the Nazi ideology. Its use is similar to the use of the Confederate flag in the South as a symbol of southern pride, and not as a call for the return of slavery. But, recalling WWII, the Russians are quick to justify their actions by labeling not just Azov, but all Ukrainian nationalists as Nazis. For Putin and company, anyone opposed to Russia’s resubjugation of Ukraine is a Nazi. This despite the fact that it is the Russians who are the ones emulating Nazi ideology by attempting to subjugate another nation for the good of the Russian folk.
Defending literal neo-Nazis is an odd position to take but you do you. Interested to see where you go with it.
They should have learned from Libya and Syria.
Since I do not support anyone who is trying, like Putin, to subjugate another nation, I am not defending any Nazis, neo or otherwise. Actions make true Nazis, not flags. Will you unequivocally condemn Putin and his Nazi-like actions in trying to subjugate Ukraine?
