If it’s a national security issue, particularly if it gives us a strategic advantage, then not only do you have a duty to protect it, but to even acknowledge the reasons why could be compromising the security.
Basically, it’s not their job to be “transparent”.
If it’s conspiracy theories about little green men, then there’s no reason to even address it.
If it’s a national security threat, and/or a national security strength, then it should remain classified, and whiney people with blogs can cry all day long. They don’t have the right to “transparency”
