It’s almost a perfect film. Never regret watching it. John McTiernan had a heck of a decade, starting with Predator, then this film, then The Hunt for Red October. Enjoyable, well-paced films with top-notch casting and snappy dialogue.

Ooh, this sounds like fun.
I’m considering inflicting one of those old classics on my son, either Miracle on 34th Street or (gag) It’s a Wonderful Life. If he can sit through either one, he will fully understand why we always watch Die Hard for Christmas.
