Americans have forgotten how to laugh.

The phrase “aged poorly” is a dead giveaway that the author is a miserable, humorless little creep.

Surprised no one mentioned Pogo. Way ahead of its time!

He probably loved the Wizard of I’d because it was about an incompetent leader.

To say that “The Addams Family” assumed that the nuclear family was superior misses the whole point

To COMPLAIN that "The Addams Family" assumed that the nuclear family was superior misses the whole point that IT IS SUPERIOR.

The author of this article “did not age well”. Rotted to the core.

The writer seems to dislike Gary Larson,"The Far Side", which was funny.

Larson was hilarious.

His views are going to age really poorly too.

I couldn’t stand *Nancy* although my grandmother thought it was hilarious.

I love Peanuts. I really appreciated The Far Side.

Family Circus was good, too. I also like Beetle Bailey and Blondie.

My parents were at that game as guests of some Harvard bigwig. Until the day he died, my father would never leave a game early, no matter the score, due to that game.

It was a big game because both teams were, for once, undefeated. Yale was favored, as they had a magician at QB and future Dallas star Calvin Hill at RB. Harvard scored 2 TDs and two 2-pt conversions in the last 42 seconds to tie.

“Harvard beats Yale, 29-29,” which I believe was the headline in the Harvard Crimson, ranks up there among the greatest sports headlines of all time - appropriate under the circumstances.

Jane Pauley was a patient of my orthodontist father. As was Nora O’Donnell. There is a third woman whose name escapes me right now - I’m 78......

Having grown up in a large family with kids close together in age, I really appreciated Family Circus.

If you haven’t seen it yet, watch the documentary, it was made back in 2008, and they interviewed the players, including Tommy Lee Jones.

Well, the author misses a lot of points. Of course, a lot of humor focuses on things that Aren’t superior. Dilbert’s company and most of the characters are not superior. The Dilbert garbageman wasn’t supposed to mean that garbagemen are superior, any more than Jeeves was supposed to imply that most valets are superior. It is just funnier that way.

I liked The Bickersons. They were a perhaps, Cleveland Ohio version of Andy Capp. The Bickersons was also very well illustrated with just pen and ink. Not a lot of heavy tones.

Dick Tracy had a good style of drawing too, but the stories were too detailed for me.

Shows what kind of dufus he is to complain about Larson showing caricatures that look like real people. What the heck does that even mean?
