Sepsis is a big risk for Colbert. There’s been a big spike in sepsis cases in California and the article I read about it says it is a new strain of bacteria causing the problem.
The problem is nationwide but California is the best at capturing the data about it.

At older ages ruptured appendix could get dicey as the abdominal cavity can be sprayed with intestinal bacterial flora. Hope they choose the correct antibiotics.

I wouldn’t have even noticed. Haven’t watched this show since he took over...and probably not for at least a decade prior to him taking it over.
