I know two Univ. of Chicago graduates who have moved to the UK under this scheme. But they wanted to live there anyway. I think there is a requirement to find a job within a year, or something like that.

drat! My alma mater, the University of Florida is one of the top 100 global universities but not one of the top 50. No visa to the UK for me.

I wonder what coolaid they were drinking when they put it together. While we are supposed to be good by the metrics they use, how can we possibly be better than Princeton and Yale, but worse than Penn.
Dartmouth isn’t even listed, but that’s because they are only a college.
I just looked at that list. My school is in top 50. Woohoo! I guess I can move to the UK now... though not sure why I’d want to. I don’t even like Marmite.
I spent a decade residing in England, but I never considered acquiring citizenship there. The taxes were just too exorbitant.
Do it here just like in the old USA with the H1-Bs.
