Chargers fans are desperate for success, and I don’t blame ’em.
With Sunday’s action all said and done, the Los Angeles Chargers are now sitting at a dismal 4-7, and this just a season after making the playoffs. And as a result, let’s just be honest here, head coach Brandon Staley is most likely going to get canned after the campaign is over.
You know Chargers fans would be absolutely ecstatic over that news. That was on clear display (along with their pain, frustration and dead dreams) during Sunday night’s game against the Baltimore Ravens, as “Fire Staley” chants filled SoFi Stadium.
“FIRE STALEY! FIRE STALEY! FIRE STALEY!”
Oh yeah, Los Angeles fans kept it real.
From the field all the way up to the nosebleeds, Chargers went full-force in uniting to hammer Staley with chants, making it clear as day they want him out of Hollywood. And can you blame them for the wasted year of having Justin Herbert as their quarterback?

Man, I truly do feel for Los Angeles and Chargers fans.
Y’all already know how much I love LA, and I’ve been a fan of the Chargers brand ever since the LaDainian Tomlinson days. Man, I loved that dude.
Here’s to you, Chargers fans. Here’s to finding your success like my Miami Dolphins eventually did.
For somebody to win, somebody’s gotta lose. Nice to not have my sunday free time robbed since 1983.
Other than #52 on defense, the Chargers were just plain impotent and lethargic against the aggressive, tricky, Ravens.
Had to love the double-pass, though - it was cute as pie.
Ping to 21 (lol)
Loyalty to a city?? Ha. How about to a home state, as in colleges? Nope. Without kids from metro Chicago, the Iowa hawkeyes would have been fortunate to be over 500% in any given season since the 60s.
I’ll never forget reading (1983?) about Iowa coach Hayden Frye saying his team needing to look like winners. His solution: put them in Pittsburgh Steeler uniforms. I thought, “so high school coach of him to do that”. Yep, kids thinking, “If I go there, I can look like a Steeler!”
He should have been fired 2 years ago. The QB’s talent is wasted on this team
Yes, that was a cute trick play....................
Let them all disappear into the dustbin of history.
It was funny...
Gronk was on the halftime show yesterday. He said it was the first time he had seen the pats for a full half this season. He said, “They are as bad as their fans say they are!”
At the end of the game the Giants set off fireworks. The announcer said, “They are setting off fireworks? For beating the Patriots?”
I never watch the Boston post game coverage. I did yesterday just to see how vicious they would be to Mac Jones and Bellichek. They did not disappoint.
And the Patriots are in the “soft” section of their schedule. The collapse, by the end of the year, will be legendary and talked about for decades.
Rumor has it that Jerry Jones has talked to Bellichick...............
