Depending on what you mean by "lost", Ukraine would be lucky if the total were only one million, is the point I was hoping to make.
Western estimates of Ukrainian deaths, military plus civilian are in the circa 100,000 range, but those are far from the only losses.
Unlike JohPreston who gloats over every Ukrainian killed or maimed, I think these numbers represent ultimately huge reparations that Russians will be required to pay for generations to come for wickedness of their current insane leadership.

Unfortunately, getting older for many men and women means needing to get up at night every 2 or 3 hours to use the bathroom. Then for some going back to sleep right away does not always happen. Sometimes one just wants to look at tne computer to see if there have been any interesting responses to what has been written by self or others. No need to imagine money as a motivator rather than simple curiosity and sleeplessness.
So far as I know there are no nations on earth with lower birthrates or lifespans than Russians themselves, to the point where Russian-Russians will in time, if not already, become a minority in their own Evil Empire.
The conquest of Ukraine then was seen as a way to shore up Russia's own population and economic base.
Vlad the Invader did not expect to find Ukrainians so fiercely opposed to "Mother Russia's" murderous embrace.

Do you understand that if Ukraine does not fight to retain their “own water”, once again they will lose their freedom to again become slaves of Putin.
