One of the evils of censorship is that it spawns speculation about what is not being reported. It encourages everyone to fill in the blanks, which of course means by everyone’s own bias and prejudices. Not all conspiracies are just theoretical.
This self-imposed censorship of ideologically uncomfortable stories also keeps liberals who rely on the mainstream sources ignorant about these trends. Not only this story, but also black on white crime in cities here, which is why it is generally naive white liberals who become victims themselves of such crimes.
