Why would someone fly from Ft. Worth to Dallas? About 30 miles.

You have it reversed, read post 32, HW was giving a speech in Tyler and then went to Dallas when the news broke.

OK, ‘maybe’ does seem to be the theme of this thread.

They were wealthy Texas oil guys and HW was a wild pilot, planes and the local airfields would have sure been routine with them.

I’ll take that as a reasonable point.

The ricochet probably removed much of the energy of that bullet, allowing his life to be spared.

in a spirit of friendly disagreement, So What?
Not every congressman, VP candidate, party chairman, or ambassador would make a competent CIA director. IMO few would.
He was not publically known as having any background in Intelligence. I was pointing out the appointment was a kind of confirmatory evidence he was previously involved. Not to a certainty based on that fact alone. ( A Bayesian observation. ).
Cutting to the chase, do you think he was not in the CIA or a CIA asset during the Kennedy administration? ( Please read the other very interesting posts that have come into the thread before you reply).

I was three years old when it happened, and I remember where I was.
To: FreedomForce
Me too! I was 3 years and 2 months old. I was at a friend of my mother’s house. It was fairly often (once a week??) that I would stay there. I remember my mom being very upset when she came in to pick me up after her errands, and I vaguely recall she had the TV on when we got home.

Anyone really buy into the Jodie Foster BS? Jodie Foster herself does. It disrupted her life at a time when she was determined to finish her studies and prove her intellectual worth OVER her already established acting talent.
Damn shame she ended up hitting for the other team, into women instead of men. Which makes Hinkley's unrequited crush that much more pathetic.

No he didn't.
Quite wild indeed since not a word of that is true.
My main source is the 2009 documentary, "Dark Legacy," directed by John Hankey. You can view it on Apple TV if you have a subscription. You should check it out.
In my opinion, the evidence connecting George Bush and the Kennedy assassination is not rock-solid, but there are definitely weird coincidences that cannot be ignored, especially dealing with Howard Hunt (also of Watergate fame). Bush's CIA ties go way back. I'm convinced George Bush used his oil business as a CIA front beginning in 1960 or 1961.

George Herbert Walker Bush is the only person I ever heard of who didn’t remember where he was on November 22nd, 1963.Could 41 have remembered where he was on 9/11, if he'd lived that long? Suspect not.

The words Bush and CIA are pretty much synonymous.
After reading about Bushes lifetime of service to Dulles and the CIA, Stone’s statement would be a logical extrapolation.
They were afraid that Reagan would be a maverick like JFK, so they put Bush in as VP as an insurance policy.
Trump truly has a mind of his own and is a Maverick, with a capital “M.” That’s why the are afraid of Trump.
To: nuconvert
“Roger Stone is a nut”
He must appear as a nut as some of his words hit home. If “they” couldn’t make him look crazy, he would be too dangerous to let him live.
