Dr Joel Wallach and another Dr did extensive work on Selenium, and that is where I learned of the toxicity, and how to get rid of it, should a person consume more than the recommended dosage. It will depend on body weight. Generally speaking, a 200lb male can consume up to about 700mcg, but that is a roungh estimate— sometimes a person needs more due to disease.
Wallach has a CD focusing on that topic.
My head is clear after almost 2 weeks. Only the slightest, and I noticed softdrinks will start to bring it back. Dosage of Omega-3s perhaps?

to be honest, it’s better to take fish oil in the liquid form anyway. I like Carlson brand. Tastes very good. You can get it in lemon or orange flavored and it’s fresh and easy to take.
the warning on fish oil capsules is that they can go rancid and you won’t know

Backatcha on this. I went ahead and procured some relatively high grade Omega-3 fish oil. May I ask what quantity and lengh of time has reduced your experience with tinnitus?
Now after talking about it on Free Republic, I noticed it again! Oops. My guess is that with exercise and maybe a scan of some sort, I will be able to reverse it. Simple movement of my jaw sometimes changes the level, as well, which makes me believe it is not from any hearing loss/damage (my hope, actually)
Ooh. Sorry to learn it has come back. I have not noticed a significant reduction since taking the “fancy” fish oil. Might try the author’s original suggestion, but will check with my doctor first. It looks like there are scads of products out there to,treat, each with their guarantee.
