More “global warming.” Better wear a mask!
If it gets cold or there’s snow it will be a first for me!
South Jersey here. We are getting heavy rain, but clearing on Thanksgiving Day.
Our biggest “fear porn” in So Cal is massive traffic jams for the holiday weekend - that have already started.
Glad I’m staying home for Thanksgiving this year!
I don’t travel on the holidays anymore, so bring it on.
More often than not, SW WI has snow by now. We’ve had a LOVELY, long Fall so far and I’ll take it. No snow for the Deer Season opener this past weekend.
It’s not unusual for kids to Trick or Treat in the snow. It’s also not unusual for Easter to be snowy.
We just adjust the color of our Snow Suits, Boots & Parkas to the current Holiday. ;)

“Severe storms and snow” have always threatened holiday travel because Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s are winter holidays and winter months have winter storms.
Geez, listening to their wailing and gnashing of teeth, you’d think “winter” is an unknown and I experienced phenomenon.
OMG! Now globull warming is causing storms for the holiday. As a countermeasure I think all should go out and get a couple extra covid boosters and put a down payment on an EV.
Unseasonably warm the past few weeks in the Peoples Republic of Minnesota, but we all know what is coming …cold and snow. Hey, it’s winter folks and it this hemisphere it gets cold and often snows. Stop the panic, get out your warm coat, gloves and snow shovels just like every year.
More pumpkin pie for me.
I was just thinking that this sounded like a fake weather warning that we seem to be getting so often. We were supposed to have a solid ten days of miserable cold rain, which turned out to be a beautiful Indian summer week-end. It has been cloudy the past two days, but still no rain.
Back a few years there was a Thanksgiving weekend nor’easter that hit while mr. mm and I were driving to NH to visit my son. It was this same day.
He lost power a few hours before we arrived and fortunately, had a coal stove so we could stay warm. We did the turkey on the Weber and it came out awesome.
He didn’t get his power restored until Saturday, after we left. But we had a great time otherwise.
I wish Bill Gates would just hurry up and block out the sun.
I guess they repurpose this headline every year...for what, now....DECADES???
Beware .... WEATHER!!!
the sissies name snowstorms now... drama Drama DRAMA
what no BOMB CYCLONE?
EVERYBODY PANIC!
Will it be as bad as the Thanksgiving Day 1976 weather when the temp was about 17 and falling, North wind, sleet, ice and snow? A brutal fall and winter!
It was used as proof we were entering THE COMING ICE AGE!
Calling for 61 degrees and sunny for Thanksgiving in my corner of Arizona...We’ll just have to deal with it.☺
