My dogs can’t get under the house so if I get desperate enough to put some under there I make sure it can’t be dragged into their yard. I’m not a fan of poison. It’s rare for me to do that but if I do I make it secure.
Rats can be bad for me with all the fruit trees. I can’t poison them. The water fowl and other birds will eat the carcasses. I just let them take a little bit of my fruit, just like the birds get a little bit. But the squirrels that dig up my seeds or a seedling pi$$es me off. Once, I miraculously got a Joshua Tree seed to germinate and those little bass turds dug it up. I was angry.
