In a historic milestone, a sniper serving in Ukraine’s security service (SBU) claimed a groundbreaking world record by successfully neutralising a Russian soldier from an astounding distance of 2.36 miles.

“None of the bottom end of the engine is interchangeable with these engines.”
Because the bore, journals, and moving parts were machined to metric standards rather than in inches.
As soon as I saw Stovebolt in my post I starting looking for your correction. I expect that to come soon!
You couldn't see anything in that video either.
“Toyota was OHC.”
No they weren’t... The first generation F1 was the same castings.
And my intentions were not to argue Toyota. It purely an example that many times what another country develops they didn’t develop or introduce. We did. And I suspect this is the case with this rifle.
:) See my #42!
Not to mention the ballistics computer (https://www.americanrifleman.org/content/ballistic-software-for-long-range-shooting/)
“a sniper serving in Ukraine’s security service (SBU) claimed...”
“To them, it’s a video game and sports fandom.”
Don’t forget the You Tube videos and the more graphic videos of Russians getting zotted on Rumble. Much more satisfying than mere video games.
Cool story, bro
I’m not interested in watching young Russian men and young Ukrainian men getting killed in NATO’s proxy war.
Ruzzia started the war in 2014. Not anyone else.
"According to the data published by MAYAK, the 750gr Hornady A-MAX bullet pushed by the 12.7x114HL cartridge to an MV of 1000 m/s (3280 fps) goes subsonic at about 3000 meters whereas the 988gr B-32 bullet of the 14.5x114mm cartridge also traveling at a muzzle velocity of 1000 m/s becomes subsonic at 2400 meters."The 12.7x114HL is a wildcat of the 14.5x114mm antiaircraft machine gun cartridge necked down to 12.7mm. Even for a 1 MOA rifle, that means a least a three and a half foot wide circle at that range, more after dropping below the speed of sound. There was a lot of luck involved in that shot. The 14.5mm parent round would make a nice anti-material rifle, should the opportunity present itself.
Deal with it.
There IS talk of the Russians making a bid for Харькoв oblast, though, after they fill enough bloody dumpsters with the remnants of the AFU...
There’s some information at the Link but not that detailed.
I would thoroughly enjoy talking to your friend about rifle telescopes, spotting scopes and exterior rifle cartridge ballistics. I’m a shooter and a software engineer who during the course of his career was able to be paid a little money studying that discipline. I wonder if it was a cold bore shot or if he had to walk it up. If it’s cold bore, then we even have to factor in barrel harmonics, pressure curve, barrel steel, Rockwell Hardness, what else? Let’s setup a Support Vector Machine, SVP, probably run the algorithmic equations under Linux. You know, just for fun. Optics and mounts are critical. Regards, kawhill
LOL, Yeah.
Or maybe some of them Super Boots that de-sanctimonious wears.
LOL. Your facts are wrong. Invading Russians have never been “ensconced” in the “Russian city” of Zaporizhia, Ukraine. They dig holes like scared rabbits far south of there. Any map will show you that.
All of this is Hitler in the bunker delusions from Dear Leader Putin but do continue cheering along these genocidal Russian Nazis if it your armchair hobby of choice.
I had a Jeep CJ5 in ‘79 that had that inline 6 cylinder engine. My Uncle David called it the “Rambler” engine. Grandma even had a car with that engine.
AFU, too!
Nobody’s on your FR lawn, Florida man.
