It began as charismatic preacher Jim Jones’ attempt to build a socialist utopia, but it ended with the deaths of more than 900 people in a remote settlement in Guyana known as Jonestown

Socialist paradise turned into hell.
Surprised, that NBC reported the truth.
A historical moment in history. They were the first to “drink the Kool-Aid.”
Here is an amazing document with lots of little known facts about the history of Jim Jones and his travels in South America:

What the news media never tells you:
Jim Jones was a Marxist wannabe dictator. By the time Jonestown happened he had no ties to any form of Christianity.
But all we hear is preacher, reverend, blah blah blah.
Jackie Speier, aide to Congressman Leo Ryan, was shot and left for dead in Jonestown on an investigative trip. Speier survived and just retired from Congress. Congressman Ryan was killed.
In other news, liberalism kills. Time and time again.
Jones made a tape at the end as the Kool Aid was mixed up and passed around.
He called the People’s Temple a “Marxist-Leninist Organization”.
In other words Jim Jones was a Communist.
It was Flavor-Aid
A little known fact about Jim Jones is that he was an aspiring boxer
He quit the sport after taking out 900 people with one punch
Not everyone drank willfully. Children were threatened by his guards, some were told to drink at gunpoint, some were shot, and Jones took a bunch of drugs before shooting himself.
The time period glorified Marxism and Communism, but people never seem to learn that those ideologies require force against them. Each generation since has flirted with it, and we’re seeing the result now.
People’s minds are weak now. It’s why so many are blindly converting to Islam.
Interesting.
It’s sad, I know.

Host Michel Martin speaks with Speier about her own abortion procedure as well as her views on budget cuts. Be advised that this conversation may not be appropriate for all ears.
Snip
Our ship was in the area when that happened. We didn’t find out about it until we got back to the states.
Cheap bastard.
What do you call 900 dead Socialists?
The San Francisco Democrat Party established enabled his death cult.
Jim Jones was actually an atheist using Christianity as a cover. Sort of like Pope Francis. He was also a life long communist, like any leftist.
Wiser than before.
