The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated, you’ll be solving them all within a few days. If you’re stumped, take a break and return to it.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram ASK THE GROUP FOR HELP!
I suggest printing these out and work them on paper. If you need a little help you can copy and paste it to Hal’s Helper below.
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper, but I recommend that you do NOT look at the letter counter.
HAL'S CRYPTOGRAM HELPER
One last request. Feel free to post a fun or clever clue, the more tangential to the quotation the better, but please don’t put the actual words of the quote in the clue.
If you need a clue ask the group to send you a letter to your private reply.

?!?!?!
This one might be tough until you try the three letter words, which should give it away.
I hesitated to post this one, but the common three letter words should let you get it. Guess two of them, and it should be pretty clear sailing.
I prefer the ones THAT don’t contain a “gimme word.”
I don’t think this one is easy. No “people” or “that” or “never”.
I usually start with trying to find “the”. There almost always is a “the” in there somewhere. In today’s case only one of the 3-letter words could possibly be “the”. Took a little longer to try various possible other 3-letter words for the other 2 words. …. Each time looking to see if my guess would make the letters fit together in all the other words, and with the context of sentence structure. For instance the word “and” is often found between two Very long words. Then word 2, 3, and 4 were obvious. Filling those in, and I could guess what the 1st word was. The rest the wrote itself, even the 2 long words.
That’s kinda how I expected people to attack it. If the small words had been oddball or rare, I wouldn’t have posted it. Not easy, but not overly difficult.
Nope. Six of the nine words end in a common letter. I have two go-to letters for that circumstance, but it’s still not a dead giveaway.
Your hint on “and” made it trivial.
Thanks for the tip, Imma use that one going forward! 😊
By the way, I didn’t get notification that this was posted.
Could you check again? I am pinging you with the name that appears on the list.
I never did figure out yesterday’s cryptogram.
Two minutes. But I never did figure out yesterday’s cryptogram.
The quote today seems kind of weird.
Yesterday’s was Froggie’s, but I got it from MGZMKG, one of those gimme words.
