I would tell her that her divorce settlement is $900,000 , and then give her 9,000.
Yep good luck with that.
Yeah, sure, it was an accident.
I don’t know which is worse, her ordering it, or that it was on the menu for that price?
No man needs a wife that posts on social media what kind of ditz she is.
No man needs a modern liberal wife.
This story has a BS smell to it. That said, if a bartender does not warn a patron about something like this beforehand, the patron should not be held responsible.
OOPS!
My wife’s too smart for that.
She would’ve just put it on the room tab...and I would’ve been left dealing with it.
Internet is filled with these dramatic made up click-baits.
Accident my arse....
Ridiculous people to begin with. Staying at a five star hotel on New Year’s eve, a 2000 dollar drink probably won’t break them.
Interesting headline, but sanity prevails in the details of the article.
But yes I clicked on the bait.
I doubt this was a mistake. Women tend to go apeshit if they don’t have to pay.
If someone wants to cry to their neighbor about their social stupidities, they need face book, not FR. If it stopped moving wasted funds to the Ukraine it would be for this site.

What a chump. Husbands are supposed to oversee their wives and guard against this kind of nonsense. He should have been more aware of what his wife was doing since he was right there with her (not unlike Adam not helping Eve when Satan was busy deceiving her).
He should also cover for her if she blows it.
I don’t care about freaking Women’s Libbers. A husband’s gotta do what a husband’s gotta do.
I do not do pricey drinks of any kind (cheap beer is fine, thanks), but the Cristal alone would have been more than $20, so yeah - not buying the accident.
These types tend to all have the crazy eyes.
I would have left her arse too. Actually I wouldn’t have because it would have never got to that point. If a woman has the crazy eyes, I’m totally out. Hasn’t let me down yet......
So, was the drink any good?
Have to wonder how many drinks she’d had before ordering this one...would think anyone taking an order for such an absurd drink would double-check that the price was understood.
Reminds me of Groucho Marx in A Night at the Opera...
#Groucho:”Let me see that bill... 9 dollars and 40 cents? This is an outrage! (hands the bill to the girl)...If I were you I wouldn’t pay it” #ANightAtTheOpera 1935
