Alexander was very good today.

The despair of the Ukrainian officers was heart-breaking, and the description of the Ukrainians preferring the Russian trenches over their own was eye-opening.

The Ukrainians don't even have enough ammunition - artillery or otherwise - to suppress the Russians while they're building their newest line of secure trenches.

The rasputitsa will break the degraded morale of the losing Ukrainians even further in the coming weeks.

kirandil: " "Update From The Ukraine" is actually an "Update From Luzern", where The Quadruple D ("Draft-Dodging Denys Davydov") prowls the Luzern nightclubs hunting for his latest comely "rabbits"..."

The above claims are not based on known facts:

  1. The claim that Davydov lives in Luzern is not verified by any public data.

  2. The claim that Davydov is a "draft-dodger" is not based on any documentation.

  3. The claim that Davydov lives the nightlife of a well-off single man is not verified and is somewhat contradicted by other statements that Davydov left Ukraine at his wife's insistence.
Such claims and other similar repeated endlessly by our Russian propagandists, are all just that -- propaganda, personal attacks used in lieu of any substantive facts or logic to juxtapose with Davydov's daily Ukraine updates.

UMCRevMom@aol.com post #54: "ALEXANDER MERCOURIS country CYPRUS.
He is a disbarred attorney in London.
THEN, became a PRO-Russian commentator on world affairs for Russian TV NEWS OUTLETS AND WEBSITES."

Kazan: "Wrong.
He and Alex Christoforou have their own media company -- The Duran.
Alexander absolutely is not employed by Russian TV outlet."

Not everyone who appears on Russian TV news outlets and websites (or any other) is necessarily an employee.
Some are paid by the appearance and some are not paid at all.

Kazan: "But, again, you have to attack the source rather than try to refute the information provided by the source.
Why?
Because you're the one spewing propaganda and can't refute factual information."

This is pretty rich coming from the side which has no serious arguments to make, no facts, no logic, no reasons worth the name, and so you guys are forced to "make your living" here with ridiculous personal attacks, insults and mockery.

Kazan: "The war in Ukraine is all but over.
Even
[CIA Director] Bill Burns is pushing for Ukraine to negotiate and an end to it."

This is the most recent article I can find on Burns, dated Sept 5, 2023.
It portrays Burns as a Russophile and repeater of Russian propaganda that, for example, Gorbachev was once promised "no eastward expansion of NATO", when in fact Gorbachev himself debunked that lie.

The real truth is that in the 1990s, Yeltsin himself wanted to join NATO and was encouraged in that by western leaders like US Pres. Clinton, who also spoke with Putin about it, in 2000.
NATO was not a problem for many Russians at that time.
And obviously, if Russia were part of NATO it would make war against NATO literally impossible.
But that's not what Vlad the Invader wanted.

Kazan: "There is absolutely no chance of Ukraine ever gaining any territory it has lost back.
That territory is now permanently part of the Russian Federation."

Of course, that was the claim of our pro-Russian propagandists since Day One, going back to 2014.
Very few Ukrainians have ever agreed and most in the West are still willing to support Ukraine's view of it.

Bottom line: a future negotiated peace treaty is possible, but as of today the most likely future is similar to what we see in Korea now 70+ years later, an effective armistice, but still no permanent peace treaty.
In the future, Ukraine joins the EU and eventually even NATO.
Russia will wither away, it's many other nationalities in full revolt, its post-Putin rulers will become more like NoKo's Little Kim -- puppets dancing on strings pulled by the CCP's Xi-snake.

kiryandil: "The despair of the Ukrainian officers was heart-breaking, and the description of the Ukrainians preferring the Russian trenches over their own was eye-opening."

No doubt Russian trenches are better built than are Ukraine's.
Perhaps Ukrainian troops will enjoy filling those trenches as they take them from Russia.

The real truth is 2023 territorial gains and losses are relatively minor, Russians around Bakhmut and Avdiivka, Ukrainians near Robodyne and the Dnieper left bank.

Russians have built and fortified extensive trench lines which Ukrainians were unable to breach.
Russians have also practiced repeated "Meat wave" assaults losing thousands of troops and hundreds of vehicles for the gain of a mile or two.

In the meantime, precision Ukrainian artillery and missiles have forced Russian support facilities -- transportation, ammunition, repairs, airports & headquarters -- out of the Donbas and even Crimea and back into Russia proper.
Ukrainians have also forced the Russian navy out of Crimea, destroying 21 Russian navy ships in the process.

So, as of today, nothing about the future is known for certain, but claims that it's all over now are still a bit premature.

kiryandil: "The Ukrainians don't even have enough ammunition - artillery or otherwise - to suppress the Russians while they're building their newest line of secure trenches."

There's no doubt that Russian ammunition supplies have always massively outweighed Ukraine's, thus leading to Zelenskyy's famous response on Day One, that he didn't want a ride out of Ukraine, he wanted more ammunition.
As of today, there are two changes of note:

  1. Ukrainians can increasingly make up what they lack in quantity of artillery ammunition by the quality of their longer-range precision guided projectiles.
These have again and again wreaked havoc on Russia's "Meat Wave" assaults against Ukrainian defenses.

  2. The longer range of Ukrainian artillery and missiles has forced Russians to move their support facilities ever further into the rear, back into Russia in most cases.
This makes Russian front lines increasingly exposed & vulnerable.
kiryandil: "The rasputitsa will break the degraded morale of the losing Ukrainians even further in the coming weeks."

So our pro-Russian propagandists have claimed repeatedly since February 22, 2022, and yet... and yet... somehow it hasn't happened yet.

Might you guys be right this time?
Even a broken clock tells the correct time twice per day, so maybe, maybe your time is finally here?

Naw, not today!

After five months of a failed Ukrainian counteroffensive that cost Ukraine more than 100,000 lives and didn't result in any significant territorial gains, you are delusional and bat sh$t crazy if you think Ukraine is ever getting the trenches or any territory back.

All you and your ilk and doing by promoting these delusions is getting more Ukrainians killed, creating amputees and setting Ukraine up to lose even more territory that Russians never had any intention of taking.

People like you are menace to humanity.

kiryandil: "I can see why your brothers on FR won't acknowledge you."

Meaning, you've got nothing, right?

You've got no facts, no reasons, no logic, no data, no arguments to make, nothing, just personal attacks.

Hmmmmmm...

Kazan: "After five months of a failed Ukrainian counteroffensive that cost Ukraine more than 100,000 lives and didn't result in any significant territorial gains, you are delusional and bat sh$t crazy if you think Ukraine is ever getting the trenches or any territory back."

Your claim that Ukrainians lost 100,000 lives in 2023 alone is not supported by any data I've seen, but 100,000 killed could easily refer to Russian "Meat Wave" assaults conducted throughout 2023, especially near Bakhmut and Avdiivka.
Russian losses from "Meat Wave" attacks are said to average around 1,000 per day:

Russians "Meat Wave" assaults are still being reported to this day, with Russia losing thousands of men and hundreds of vehicles to gain a few square miles.

Ukrainians long ago switched over to less costly tactics, with correspondingly fewer miles of advance.
So, casualty estimates for Russian "Meat Wave" attacks are in the three Russians to one Ukrainian range.

It was reported last summer that Ukraine forces did occupy some Russian-dug trenches around Robodyne.

Kazan: "All you and your ilk and doing by promoting these delusions is getting more Ukrainians killed, creating amputees and setting Ukraine up to lose even more territory that Russians never had any intention of taking."

Vlad the Invader and his minions have clearly said they want to restore the Old Soviet/Russian Empire, meaning conquering all of Ukraine, and that's what Vlad's assaults on Kyiv, Kharkiv and Kherson beginning in February, 2022, were all about.
So, would Vlad settle for less than all of Ukraine today?
Maybe, temporarily, until he had time to regroup and rearm for Round Three (2014 was Round One).

No Ukrainian I know of believes for one minute that seeking peace from Vlad the Invader will turn out well for Ukraine.

Kazan: "People like you are menace to humanity."

That's pure nonsense because, in this whole story, the only "menaces to humanity" are Vlad the Invader and his Axis of Evil partners in crime -- CCP's Xi-snake, NoKo's Little Kim and Iran's Moolah Mullahs.
All make threatening and attacking their neighbors their "normal" behavior and none respond to appeals of sweet reason or humanity.

You, Kazan, are their enabler and should be ashamed of your work here on their behalf.
