In the recent election cycle, we witnessed a disturbing series of victories for the party of death, the Democrat party—a party that, from any honest Christian perspective, flagrantly tramples on the sacredness of human life. The heinousness of abortion and the expansion of the culture of death isn’t just an issue for Sunday sermons—it’s a glaring red alert for anyone with a shred of moral clarity. The question that’s burning a hole in the minds of those who value life is plain: Why does this party, so brazen in its support for abortion, keep clinching such victories?
Let’s cut through the typical noise and excuses. Time and again, we hear the same old refrains—it’s about voter suppression, gerrymandering, or the influence of big money in politics. Some say it’s the mainstream media bias that skews the narrative, painting conservatives in a negative light. Others argue it’s the educational system, supposedly indoctrinating the young impressionable minds away from traditional conservative values. And, of course, there’s the camp that claims it’s about the Republican party not embracing softer or more progressive positions to win over the middle ground.
But let’s be clear. While these are certainly problems—and problems that I’ve discussed on this blog many, many times that should dealt with—these are not the root causes. It’s not about Republicans failing to hustle up votes. It’s not about conservatives not articulating their values sharply enough. We hear excuses about demographic shifts, about the need for a broader appeal, or even suggestions that conservatives aren’t leveraging social media effectively. Some even blame internal party divisions or a lack of charismatic leadership.
However, these are all distractions, mere symptoms of the bigger problem, skirting around the heart of the matter. And it’s certainly not about some alleged strategic misstep by the Republican party or a failure to fire up their base. These are surface-level analyses for those who can’t or won’t see the real issue.
Here’s the unvarnished truth, grounded in Scripture. In 2 Timothy 3:1-5, Paul tells us plainly about the nature of humanity in the end times. He paints a picture of a society obsessed with self and pleasure, blatantly turning its back on God. This isn’t just some ancient diatribe inapplicable modernity—it’s a direct commentary on our times. The rise of the pro-abortion agenda is a direct consequence of this profound moral and spiritual decay.
“But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty.For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good,treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.” —2 Timothy 3:1-5
It’s crazy how we can call ourselves Christians, followers of Christ, and hold up the authority of Scripture as our prized possession, yet continue to overlook this simple truth. The world is fallen, human nature is depraved. And what we’re witnessing is a crude reflection of a culture that has traded the truth about God for a lie and worshiped the creature rather than the Creator.
The normalization of the murder of innocent children isn’t just a political marketing scheme. It’s a chilling barometer of a society’s moral health. When killing the unborn becomes a matter of “choice,” it’s clear we’re not just dealing with policy debates but with a society that hates God and chases the fleeting mirage of pleasure that a culture of death has to offer.
We really need to see this for what it is: a battle that transcends politics. This is about a deep-rooted spiritual crisis. The surge of the pro-abortion movement is a symptom of a society that’s not just drifting, but actively rowing away from God. Our response must be more than just political activism. It demands a vigorous committment to living in accordance with the transformative power of the gospel while proclaiming it boldly from the rooftops.
In recognizing this, we understand that the ascendance of the pro-abortion party of Hell isn’t just a matter of getting our act together, restructuring our tactics, and rallying our base, and organizing our activism—that’s more akin to works righteousness than the gospel. We can’t depend on our temporal skills and motivational efforts to win a spiritual war. Rather, what this is is a glaring sign of a society that’s turning its back on the fundamental teachings of Christ that requires a miraculous intervention from God—for us to be bold witnesses of the Gospel in a world that’s desperately floundering for lack of it.
Because Dems play to win!
Play or pay?
The dead people in the cemeteries always vote for the party of death.
Why? Because the stupid and uninformed keep voting for them and, of course, they cheat.
Because the media and education system are powerful indoctrinators. Progressives see the current situation, economic decline, wars, as just something that happens. Kind of like the weather. No fault of poopy pants Joe.
They will vote for Biden again.
Only an EMP will stop electronic voter fraud at this point.
That and the party of life -if you will- is apologetic for its moral convictions, it seeks permission from the enemy
It’s all part of The Plan.
Get your heart right with God, and He’ll handle the rest.
And why are the Republicans letting them win?
OLDNOBALLS that want to keep their highly overpaid cushy seats.
Because untrammelled sexual desire is the spirit of the age.
Because yielding to this spirit without consequence is the most important right to many women, and of great benefit to many men.
Because the left won the propaganda war, and prolifers are generally viewed as cruel, backwards, and repressive people.
Well, we live among the dead.
Jesus didn’t come to make bad people good. Jesus came to make dead people alive.
There is an army of selfish single issue women who have tipped the elections all over the county. They vote for the rats automatically because they know the rats will keep their right to kill without restrictions of any kind.
I’ve been politically active and involved for over 50 years. One of the things that frustrates me is that the Republicans have allowed the media and the Democrats to create and manipulate the Republican Party’s public perception and image to their advantage.
You could be a dedicated Repub your whole life.....but
once you die, you’re a registered Democrat for eternity.

No, they win on this issue because of one reason.
No one, no one, likes being told what they can or cannot do...
They are perfectly happy to tell others what they can do, but not being told what to do.
Democrats have lied and framed abortion as an all or nothing option... If Republicans win, you will lose all access to abortion at all times. And yes, there are a segment of the right that wants no abortions at all.
The majority however do not agree with this, but that’s how it is framed by democrats... if you vote for a republican you are going to lose all access to abortion and reproductive autonomy.
Like it or not, that’s why they win on this issue. They have framed it in the most extreme terms, and most folks do not agree with that stand.
