Not a cat man, sorry. Murderous fur ball assassins IMO.
My ex-neighbor had a gray striped young killer. It constantly hunted in my area especially in the little strip of woods beyond my house and was very successful. Seems every week it would kill a songbird or rabbit. To this day I swear it had a small puppy in its mouth one evening but when I walked closer to see it slunk away in the weeds.
Neighbor was very diligent in keeping it strong and healthy with high protein foods, vaccinations and warm safe place to rest during the day then he would release it every night to terrorize all the wildlife in the area.
🤣…half way joking…😡

I went to the pet cemetery when I was visiting relatives in San Francisco - it was right along the road we take on our bikes.
There were plenty of graves for fish, along with cute headstones.

When we had a small rural acreage, my wife was grateful for the varmints that Dominic and Martin took out of commission, preserving her garden. She taught our then young children some French by keeping a chart of Dominic's known kills en Francais.
He took out voles, moles, rabbits, mice, as well as birds. When he wasn't hunting, he would practice his ninja moves on our small rat terrier Bella (he missed on the jumps on purpose).
When we lived in a small city (Columbus, GA), we were grateful that our neighbor's Maine Coon Casey, took out an entire colony of local sewer rats. He was the boss man of the neighborhood. Other kitties willingly ceded their territory when Casey was on patrol. Loved people, though.
