Ukrainian military officer coordinated Nord Stream pipeline attack
Washington Compost ^ | 11/11 | Shane Harris and Isabelle Khurshudyan

A senior Ukrainian military officer with deep ties to the country’s intelligence services played a central role in the bombing of the Nord Stream natural gas pipelines last year, according to officials in Ukraine and elsewhere in Europe, as well as other people knowledgeable about the details of the covert operation.

The officer’s role provides the most direct evidence to date tying Ukraine’s military and security leadership to a controversial act of sabotage that has spawned multiple criminal investigations and that U.S. and Western officials have called a dangerous attack on Europe’s energy infrastructure.

Looks like Seymour Hersh was right lol.

Apparently Zelensky is claiming ignorance but its seems likely he wouldve known (certainly shouldve known) and this did not happen without our knowledge and quite possibly our involvement.

This is a cover story. MonkeyWerx revealed US Military Aircraft all over the AO just prior to the explosion. Some peon Ukrainian officer didn’t do Biden/Nuland’s job

Found a fall guy to take the rap for Biden/Obama. This fools no one. Russians and Germans are smarter than that—they know who did the deed and they have long memories.

I'm sure "Z" smiled and sent US a note of congratulations.

The whole idea was to cut off the source of any gas that bypassed the established lines in Ukraine.

Ukraine charged huge fees to countries obtaining fuel via Ukraine's lines.

Four posts in and not much left to say, except Nuland, Sullivan, and Zhao his own self had all said beforehand that the US was gonna destroy Nordstream.

Authorities allege that Chervinsky, who was arrested in April, acted without permission and that the operation gave away the coordinates of a Ukrainian airfield, prompting a Russian rocket attack that killed a soldier and injured 17 others.

Maybe I’m wrong, but isn’t hard to conceal an airbase in the age of Satellites?

The USS Kearsage, with a deep well deck and a reported mission of practicing anti-mining operations in the Baltic in the preceding months, was sitting parked above the blast site up until about 48 hours before the blast. (I looked up the latter point myself on a marine traffic website shortly after the explosion after a twitter account mentioned it.) Just saying.

The German government withheld final authorization of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline days before Russia invaded Ukraine, following months of pressure by Washington. Before the war, Germany got half its natural gas from Russia and had long championed the Nord Stream project in the face of opposition from other European allies.

In my opinion the pipeline bombing should be considered an act of war on Germany and the other Euro-states that were receiving gas from those pipelines.

The loss of those pipelines were major economic engines for Europe.

There was no upside for Russia to blow up it’s own pipeline. The US intelligence agencies making this claim when it happened reinforced my view that they are infested with idiots or congenital liars and in either case they hold the US public in contempt. When I see a report that says, “US intelligence officials say...” my first reaction is dear God what lie have they cooked up now because it’s a lie 99% of the time.

What, dive down to less than 100 m / 300 ft and attach a timed explosive device to a stationary object? Get real.
