U.S. Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Georgia) has released video images from Jan. 6, 2021, showing the movements of a Capitol Police officer who Blaze News investigative journalist Steve Baker said appears to have given false testimony regarding his whereabouts that day during a key encounter with members of the Oath Keepers.
Loudermilk, chairman of the Committee on House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight, said in a statement to Baker that he released the still frames — from closed-circuit TV video with timestamps — of U.S. Capitol Police Special Agent David Lazarus because "an allegation of a Capitol Police officer lying under oath is very serious and must be fully investigated."

One thing for sure, it’s all part of the reasons why they’ve been fighting tooth and nail to keep this video from ever seeing the light of day.

That doesn’t surprise me, but what does is how many Federal judges see themselves as handmaidens of the DOJ in suppressing Trump supporters.
Of course they do. The video should have been released to each defendant charged with some kind of conspiracy. The problem is the appeal based on withheld, or tainted, evidence would go to the same bunch. I wonder for those arrested out of district for phony evidence if they can site their arrest in their outside DC judicial circuit as a violation of their due process in the district they reside as the government agents entered interstate to arrest them?

There weren't "shots." There was one "shot" that killed Ashley Babbitt made by Michael Byrd, who was behind closed doors at the time he fired the shot. From what I recall, there weren't any uniformed police in the immediate vicinity when the shot was fired. Once Ashley fell back, those uniformed cops were just coming up the winding staircase. They arrived, and dragged Ashley back down the stairs.

There weren't "shots." There was one "shot" that killed Ashley Babbitt made by Michael Byrd, who was behind closed doors. Byrd was initially hiding in an alcove off the main hall, then stepped forward with gun drawn, firing at Ashley.
From what I recall after watching different videos of the murder, and the area outside where Ashley fell, there weren't any uniformed police in the immediate vicinity when the shot was fired. Once Ashley fell back, those uniformed cops were just coming up the winding staircase. They arrived, and dragged Ashley back down the stairs.
Did anyone else testify that they heard actual shots being fired over the radio system? Did he hear someone say "shots fired," or did he actually claim he heard the shots ring out over the radio? Every cops radio has a call sign that is assigned to it, and any call made is registered in the digital log of the system, and which radio made the call. If someone specifically said "shots fired" across the system, whose radio did it come from? They would have that info at their fingertips. I worked in uniform, and every radio we used had its own call number, so no one could get away with saying anything stupid without being caught. I've been retired for 20 years, so the radio system has to have gotten even more sophisticated when it comes to monitoring radio transmissions. Each radio also had its own emergency lanyard that could be pulled if help was needed. They could track your position back then too, so radios used on Capitol Hill on January 6th, would be even easier to monitor.
I wonder if anybody bothered to have Lazarus clarify just what he heard on the radio communication system during his testimony. Probably not, because they didn't really want to know.
Call his office, and ask. In the meantime:
