Joe Biden's administration appears to be watering down its denial of allegations the president met Burisma executives at a cozy DC dinner with his son Hunter.
The White House initially vehemently denied rumors that Biden was present at a Cafe Milano meeting between Hunter and Ukrainian oil tsar Vadym Pozharskyi in April 2015.
But after Hunter's former Burisma Holdings partner Devon Archer testified before the House Oversight Committee in July that Pozharskyi did dine with the president, the government changed course on its version of events.
In October 2021, when asked by Politico whether the White House could rule out Biden having any formal or informal encounters with Pozharskyi in 2015, a spokesperson wrote back: 'Yes'.
But, when quizzed about the meeting again after Archer's testimony, Biden's people swerved the issue of whether the president was at the dinner.
As we have said many times before, the President was not in business with his son or anyone else in the family,' a spokesperson said.
'And House Republicans' own witnesses, including Devon Archer, have testified that the President never even discussed business with his son.'
Archer told the House committee under penalty of perjury that Biden stuck around and dined with all the attendees at the 2015 meeting, and emails from Hunter's laptop suggest his attendance too.
The New York businessman said Biden arrived late, 'shook everybody's hand', then they 'ate and kind of talked about the world, I guess, and the weather,' over the course of an hour or two.
He did not say Biden discussed business or offered favors to the energy executive - but his contradiction of the White House denial about Biden ever being president has flung the issue into the spotlight again.
Archer also told the House that the then-vice president had been present on speakerphone...

Burisma CEO Mykola Zlochevsky told the source: ‘It costs 5 (million) to pay one Biden, and 5 (million) to pay another Biden.’

Human Source (CHS) met with high-ranking Burisma executives between 2015 and 2016.
Burisma was looking to spend up to $30 million on a U.S.-based oil and gas company purchase.
However, it was also the subject of a criminal investigation into corruption by Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, which the company knew would have a substantial negative impact on Burisma’s prospective IPO in the US.
When asked about the investigation, the form states that Zlochevsky replied:
“Don’t worry Hunter will take care of all of those issues through his dad.”
Later, then-VP Joe Biden made a public statement, caught on
video, that the Ukranian prosecutor, Shokin, was “corrupt.”
Biden demanded he be fired/removed from office or else, as Obama’s
point man, he would withhold a billion dollars in US foreign aid.
It’s like a Monty Python skit:

Our entire government is a liar.
Joe has vehemently denied of this. But what else can he do? Say yes, it’s true. He’s up to his neck in it, he thought he would be protected by the DOJ, etc, and it’s just not working out for him.
In spite of all the damage, it’s actually good the left deep state is getting exposed. They won’t be able to pull this sh*t again when Trump’s back in office.
Where are the subpoenas?
Chasing down Joe and Hunter should occupy no more than 5% of Congress’ time and energy. There are bigger things to pursue.
1. Pay $5 million to the old man, $5 million to his evil spawn AND fire the prosecutor
2. Release $1 billion aid to Ukraine
This was all known BEFORE the election, and the MSM and deep state did everything to cover it up.
If they want Biden to drop out will the powers that be go after Hunter today?
