Anti-Semitism and the Quran

Many Americans have been led to believe the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is a conflict over land when it is a religious conflict rooted in Quranic doctrine; a doctrine consumed with Jew hatred throughout its numerous passages.

The formation of Islam began with Mohammad in 610 A.D. in the city of Mecca where he attempted to convince the local pagan population he was sent by God to be his messenger.

Mohammed’s attempts to mollify the Medina Jews resulted in a series of conciliatory passages that contradict the vast majority of Quranic references to Jews: “O children of Israel! call to mind My favor which I bestowed on you and that I made you excel the nations.” (Muslims try to explain away these through the Doctrine of Abrogation, which nullifies certain passages in the “perfect” Quran, something not required by either the Old or New Testaments.)

In fact, while in Medina, Mohammad and his followers were reported to have pillaged villages while raping and capturing the women to be used as sex slaves, and although the three Jewish tribes feared him, they continued to cling to their Judaism. As a result, in 627, a mere five years after Muhammad arrived in Medina, he oversaw the beheading of approximately 900 Jewish men in the marketplace on trumped-up charges of conspiring with the enemy. The captured Jewish women became sex slaves, and their children were taken into slavery.

Thus, it is worth noting, the refusal of Jews some 1400 years ago to accept Mohammad as a prophet has enshrined Islam with contempt and Jew hatred for all of eternity.

The Arabs claim that the Jewish Israelis stole Palestine from them. The Israelis did steal it. However, a history lesson needs to be remembered. In 600, Arabs were confined to the Arabian Peninsula. They expanded rapidly during their wars of conquest, taking over the Fertile Crescent and North Africa, and expanding into Spain. The pre-existing nations, like the Assyrians, Egyptians, etc., were Islamicized or exterminated. Arabic mostly replaced the native languages from Morocco to Iraq, Christians who did not convert were marginalized and forced to pay heavy taxes. Coptic Christians, descendants of the original Egyptians, became a minority in their own country. The same is true for the Assyrians, the original inhabitants of Iraq. Unlike the Roman Empire, where the nations the Romans conquered kept their own customs and religions, the Arabs insisted on imposing their culture and religion on their conquered subjects.

The history of mankind is one of one group stealing the land from its former inhabitants. The names of several European countries, such as England, France, and Romania, acknowledge the people that conquered the former inhabitants, in the case of the Angles and Saxons, displacing and killing the native Britons. As for us Americans, we know our own history. As someone has said, those who live in the territory of the Iroquois have no right to criticize the Israelis.

For many centuries Jews lived in Muslim countries.

Unfortunately, sometimes Muslims go bonkers. This is in part due to the Muslim faith being created in part by the use of violence and partially due to personal defects and envy.

However, when a group uses violence, it can suffer violent and unpleasant consequences as the people of Gaza are learning yet again.

Until 1948 there was no theft.

After 1948, Arabs lost land much as the Germans lost land in 1945. The Arabs lost lands for the same reason the Germans under Hitler did, they started a war of aggression and lost.

It’s like a family who leaves their multi generational homestead to go on vacation, only to return to find squatters have taken up residence.

God made a Covenant with Abraham and to his Seed. And that Covenant was recorded in the original register of deeds. God’s Word does not return void!

As a college student at a Catholic University in the early 60's, we were required to study an alternate "religion" for a semester and I chose islam.

We read and studied the koran and all of the writings by and about muhammed and islam is truly a hateful excuse for a religion.

It was {and is} a religious/political/judicial and monetary way of life that promises true believers eternal happiness and death to all others.

Hamas is doing nothing more nor less than what is written in their koran, they are a 7th century religion living and killing in today's world.

They see no evil in burning a living Jewish baby to death or raping and beating a young Jewish girl.

The mere fact that they are Jews is enough justification. There is no way to have peace with these twisted minds.

U.S. President Harry Truman was the first world leader to officially recognize Israel as a legitimate Jewish state 1948.

The Jews have had a continuous presence in Israel for the last 3,000 years. Prior to 1948, they acquired more land the old-fashioned way, they bought it, from the Turks and Arabs. Additional territory was later gained in wars started by the muslims - don't lose a war you start and then complain about the consequences.

The Jewish people are the physical and historical descendants of the Chosen People of the Bible. Under the Abrahamic Covenant, the Holy Land was promised to the Jewish nation. Since covenants are one sided, can only be abrogated by God, and Scripture does not indicate that God renounced the Abrahamic Covenant, the Jewish nation has a God given claim to the Holy Land.

From the standpoint of those who are not Jews or Christians who hold to a dispensational view of Scripture, the establishment of Israel and the displacement of the Arabs looks like a case of one people expelling another.
