I’ve been having kitten anxieties, since these babies haven’t had our normal stool since I got them. Sorry for the details. They have finally tested negative for any parasite so that’s good. But I still don’t know what else to do. I suggested that the lady that has the rescue find somebody else to take them with more knowledge. She said she would. As soon as I read that my heart broke and I changed my mind! I love those little fur babies and they love me back. They always want attention and patting and playing. I’ll figure something out
The good news is is that I’ve had two positive responses from rescues, one in Pennsylvania and one in New jersey. The Pennsylvania one when I asked about the mother said “We never leave mothers behind.” That’s so sweet. Made me all sniffly. These tray mama cats give their all for their babies. And this mama cat is special, so gentle and grateful. She deserves a wonderful home.
cotton - Re: kittens - sometimes God makes the decision easy for us. Fortunately you have mama n kits and not some irresponsible person. Similar to Christian teaching that when the student is ready, a teacher will be sent
Just had a cup of my tomato soup. Never make it the same twice. I had heavy cream n veggie broth to use. Lunch was egg salad on Oat-nut bread with honey mustard and pepper Jack cheese. I’ve gained a bit of weight back.

Judy re: Natalie. Is she on any anti-depressants or psychotic meds? Did she get the vax? I’m asking because this combination is what turned my gentle mild (even though lib) housemate/ charge into a unrecognizable individual. She would fly off the handle n the morning I left I was so frightened, she was screaming n throwing dishes n glasses around the condo. The cats were scared big time. A day later she disposed of all my things. Every . Single. Thing
I did some research and found this was not uncommon. Her drinking n pot no doubt made it worse. I don’t have any fix it idea but it’s often helpful to know the cause
