I am guessing DeSantis is about 5’8” or 5’9” in his stocking feet.
I first met him in 2018 and he was wearing regular cowboy boots which added about 1.5” to 2” to his height.
Ron seems to have become more vain about his height over the years.
Of all the things I have to be concerned about personally and in the world, this isn’t high on the list.
That’s the way it should be, but the simple fact is that people respond by the physicality of a person. A taller person, for whatever reason, is assumed to be more competent and authoritative than the shorter person.
Not all but most of the taller candidates win.
