VinFast Auto is considering a fifth vehicle for its planned U.S. dealership network: the VF 3 minicar that's specifically designed for the Vietnamese market but could have potential as a sub-$20,000 city car for budget-minded Americans, company representatives told Automotive News.
(Sorry the article only seems to include the one paragraph)
😎
Most golf communities have low cost electric golf cart dealers already.
Haha.
NOT.
It is a real car.
It doesn’t look like they are going to offer that car in the US anytime soon. Their VF8 models starts at $46K
If they do, this will completely open the American market to the same sort of cheap-car dynamic which China has.
(I think, anyway)

What to Buy: 1986–1992 Yugo
The 55-hp, under 2000-pound car from Yugoslavia once captured the world’s imagination. This car won’t win stoplight drag races but is incredibly Instagram-worthy.

Now we’re getting news via “Pakistan Defense” instead of the US enemedia? Who knew?!
It’s the go-to authority on Vietnamese electric vehicles, everybody knows that.
Now, the Cowboys kick off at noon today, where’s my copy of the Indonesian Times for the latest news on team? Damn delivery kid is late everyday!
Lol
Ewsmax had a blurb on their ticker tape below the newscasts that said that the cost of charging an ev fully will be the equivalent of paying $17 dollars a gallon for gasoline-
Not sure how they came up with that?
I originally saw it on autonews.com, but they had one of the “click here for the full article” prompts so I found another source.
Considering the brevity of the article, could be that is how this one came about…

Here is the link to the (similar?) article with the hidden part:
It’s a good-looking car, in my opinion.
Agree. Kinda looks like a new Bronco knock-off
Some are weatherized and would work OK for going to the grocery store, etc. However, the problem is all of this electric demand on the grid is NOT SUSTAINABLE with the attempt to eliminate oil, gas, and coal production. Wind and solar will not provide reliable energy for the grid. Never have, never will...
I’m sure it will meet all the crash test standards ICE cars have to meet, not. But the feds will look the other way to forward the “agenda”.
What does the price of the vehicle matter if you can’t afford to insure it, can’t afford the upgrade to your electrical service to plug it in, can’t wait for it to charge...
Vinfast is (very) new.
They caught a lot of heat from their initial rollout, which honestly (may have been) a bit too early.
They have been furiously updating.
I think they will be (much) improved now.
There are a TON of them in Vietnam already.
Lots and lots.
(judging by the standard of, most of the other “cars” here are … motorcycles)
