If you have eyes are you able to see ? Other countries especially the United States need to step up. It's your neighbor. All the countries around could help Mexico and help get your civilians tourists out as soon as possible ! THIS IS MAJOR ! Get our people out ASAP !
There is no transportation out. The airport the ports, roads close in many sectors. 90% approximately of the hotels are destroyed. They say that the law enforcement are protecting the remaining tourists still left. The last count approximately two days ago was 30,000 still there.

You got dead bodies all over, and that’s without doing house to house searches.
We still don’t know about the many neighborhoods, especially the low income neighborhoods.

I used to travel and stay in many parts of Mexico. Being fluent in Spanish, I was treated a little better than non-speakers. There are many areas with lighter skinned people, descendents of Spain.
I will no longer visit. It is just too dangerous. Some of the Cancun coastal resorts touted their safety. Some of those resorts are so large, with stores and other services, you don’t have to leave. The cartels and bandits found a way to attack. They came in from the ocean.
I read the news articles from Spain that have news about Mexico. There were many bus companies that would no longer provide service without the Army providing cover escort. Bus riders will not bring/wear anything of value because the bandits will not just stop the bus and steal everything. Sometimes they would burn the bus, stranding everyone.
Here is one fun example of my fluency helping. We flew into the Yucatan peninsula. Outside the terminal were about twenty white taxis. There was a taxi manager you had to go through ($$$) to get a taxi. I asked him in Spanish which of the twenty taxis have air conditioning. He stated they all do. I then asked him which ones actually work. He sighed heavily and pointed to just the two that worked.
If you happen to be in Mexico City, I highly recommend the Museum of Anthropology. One of my favorite rooms in the Museum is a recreation of the Aztec capital of Tenochtitlan, where Mexico City is today. The valley of Mexico used to be a large lake. The Aztecs filled in parts of the lake to build the city. Remember when Indiana Jones was in the old Egyptian map room? It is that scale of size (without the Lost Ark). You can walk all around it.
There are good people still in this world.
I know governments and corrupt officials are running things, but we need to rise above that and help the souls that are good.
