This is how childish the lefties are. They deal out fantasy cards and play pokemon. It’s hard to come to a rational table with them as we try to play with a full deck.

I am convinced that, in a war between two organized crime nations, the lefties choose to back Ukraine because from the time Trump entered politics, they saddled him with Russia; ergo, backing Ukraine to the hilt is tantamount to fighting a war against Trump, which is their wet dream.

Yes, I know and acknowledge that it was Russia that stupidly invaded Ukraine. I’d have dealt humanitarian aid to Ukraine, not move toward WW 3 over it.

Why would anyone take Rolling Stone seriously?

Remember hearing about the "peace dividend" at the end of the Cold War? Instead we got increased "defense" spending.

NATO should have dissolved right after the Warsaw Pact and should be eliminated now. And never mind what Trump is up to (or not).

More lies. Trump never said he wanted to leave NATO. He just pointed out correctly that freeloading by European states was in fact the greatest threat to NATO and that Americans would not be willing to shoulder the lion’s share of the defense burden forever.

Haven't seen too many NATO apologists on this thread. How about an insight and more into NATO of late.... From the horse's own mouth....
NATO Secretary General: our armed forces must be both green and strong NATO, 21 June 2023

NATO steps up work on climate change and security, 12-Jul.-2023 NATO, 12 July 2023

NATO Delivers Environmental Security and Climate Change Solutions NATO, 17 July 2023

Implementing NATO's Climate Security Agenda: Challenges Ahead NATO, 10 August 2023.

NATO and Climate Change: A Climatized Perspective on Security NATO, 18 August 2023

NATO. Well past its sell-buy date. Time to leave NATO, and past time to leave NATO.

NATO's budget for 2023 is about 1,264 trillion USD. LeMonde reports Russia's military budget is about 63 billion Euros.

As reported, "the Department of Defense (DOD) had $1.80 trillion distributed among its 6 sub-components." We're number one! In spending.

As Stoltenberg advises "green and strong."

Green and strong and massively in debt with a growing deficit too. Yeah! Number one!

Time for America first. Because we're only first under Biden (Obama administration's 3rd term) in terms of going bankrupt.

Dear Rolling Stone,

I'm already voting for Trump, you don't need to give me another reason.

This is the primary reason they won’t allow Trump back in there. The deep state’s mission is to prevent Eurasian economic integration. And they don’t want Euro countries to become dependent on cheap Russian gas & oil. In order to achieve this the US will continue with it’s aggressive foreign policy against Russia and China trying to put a wedge between then and the West. But how long will the Euro countries go along with this as their economies go into the toilet? Their economies aren’t globally competitive without cheap oil and gas.

1) Without the US there will be war.
2) Anyone remember the Mansfield Amendment?
3) World history-Europe was the bloodiest continent.

I’d feel sorry for the Poles-always dominated by somebody.
Hungary? They got the right idea.

Simple fact: Europe is too divided. Is war the answer? Population resets keep happening. Think of the Holocaust.

Treaties have conditions that need to be met.
Europe has not met the conditions for many decades now.
The treaty is null and void.

President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign is attacking former President Donald Trump’s over a new report alleging that he wants to withdraw from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

The Penn Biden Center’s website focused on strengthening American global leadership by addressing threats to the Liberal International Order.

Trump is spot on

Trump did propose that the US drop out of NATO. It was part of his successful plan to get Germany and France to pay up what they owed for NATO. I don’t think that Germany paid all of their back debt, but they paid a good bit of it.

Another reason to re-elect Trump.

NATO has become more of a danger to national security than a benefit to it.

Well yeah. NATO is like Mike Tyson and a bunch of 3rd graders in a defensive alliance. Tyson gets to call the shots.
Anyway, NATO is a welfare program for the defense industry and European bureaucrats. Thousands of them work at their golden fleece HQ center.

It’s a lame bunch of ingrates, and an aggressive expansionist entity that operates outside all legal norms, having moved into the “rules based order” era (because they cannot say “international law” while brazenly violating it by launching wars with zero UN authority).

Go Trump!

NATO? What does it do? Well, it protects you from the USSR that went defunct over 30 years ago and reduced it’s military by 90% after that time.

So now it spreads like a melanoma, provokes Russia and occasionally does thing like attack Libya out of the blue so it can flood the EU with migrants. Oh, and they consume ungodly amounts of American money.

I think President Trump’s argument is simple, and has been said for a long time. Basically, since NATO, European nations have used their defense spending on socialist welfare schemes, relying on the US to defend them.

If they have to build and pay for their own defense, these welfare schemes will have to go out the window.

” said Biden campaign spokesman Ammar Moussa in a statement to the Washington Examiner.”

Biden campaign spokesman. First chance to vote for president was in 2012, graduated from college in 2016. Speaks Arab.

Typical.
