Sunday was one of the worst-officiated days in recent NFL history.
While everyone makes mistakes, and officials are no different, there were multiple high-level mistakes made by the league's officiating crews on Sunday.
Three calls stood out.
In the Browns at Colts game, a brutal "pass interference" penalty on an uncatchable pass helped give Cleveland the win.
In the Rams vs. Steelers game, a questionable spotting of the ball helped give Pittsburgh the win.
And in the Eagles vs. Dolphins game, a blatant missed facemask penalty was uncalled.
How do you miss this?

The level of play sucks, the officials suck and Taylor Swift sucks.
NFL only exists for the “fantasy” leagues and the bettors.
*I’m reminded of the Drew Pearson push off*
Aw yes, playoff game against the Vikings. That was a great day.
NFL, MLB and NBA officiating is sloppy.
It’s a generational thing.
Woke punks are in positions of power now.
I can’t believe the calls I have seen in the MLB playoffs.
Obvious blown calls.
Years before his jump to Sirius XM, and obscurity, Howard had a lot author on who talked his book up about fixed games and the methods of doing so so mo one could really be certain. The author said knowing this ruined part of the games of sports for him. He still watched some, but with jaded eye and for trifling entertainment only
Taylor is Kelce’s Judy Garland?
“Taylor Swift sucks”
Probably why Kelce likes her.
Who said anything about “black refs”?
They have been around for a long time...
I’m worried about women refs and nancy-boy refs...
Diversity also includes refs with unexamined past histories who might be amenable to collecting fees for game-effecting calls...
The bookies have sharp pencils and know a lot of tricks. If you had enough information and were really good with statistics you might catch them. Baseball is heave into statistics and I am sure the football is also but they don't talk much about ti. I imagine you. can't beat the computers I the long run.
That was a great day?
For Dallas fans...
“That was a great day?
For Dallas fans...”
Very true. The Vikings were a great team in the 70s. They made it to the Super Bowl about every other year but just couldn’t win it. Maybe the 2030s will be their decade again.?
I have long thought the games were fixed...the NBA has already had an officiating scandal where referees have been caught shaving points for betting line purposes. Could the NFL be far behind?
Nothing as egregious as what was done to the Saints in the playoffs for three years in a row.
I add that if you complain about the refs in public you get fined so you can’t let the public know you agree they are bad.
“It’s because of legalized gambling. Obviously.
yep ... now that “legal” gambling is the biggest NFL sponsor, it was inevitable that a large percentage of the games would be fixed, and in fact, given the bizarre wins by total loser teams and bizarre losses by powerhouse teams, it’s completely obvious games are being fixed ... i call it betting parity ... and it makes watching the games even more pointless than ever ...
Your simple statement is actually the "CORE ISSUE" of the entire matter. MONEY CHANGES EVERYTHING!
Vikings over the 49s 22-17 and they seem to have a running game. Who would have thought that?
