Well he has a handful of decent songs. He is a charter member of the a-hole celeb club- musician category. Garth, Brad Paisley, Merle, all members
I dunno; weed, maybe; but all us septuagenarians are capable of stumbling, so we’d better pick our spots. Handrails are our friend.
No. His music has always sucked.

“You could tell the bands who came in and figured , “we are in Iowa, do what we need to get our paycheck”.”
Not in Iowa but have seen that happen several times.
Saw 2 really great Moody Blues concerts then the 3rd one they really just “phoned it in”.
Earth, Wind & Fire at a small East Texas college could have just done enough, but they were amazing that night. Not really my kind of music but you could tell the band was talented and working hard.
Where will we hear these lyrics?
“hey little girl is your daddy home did he go away and leave you all alone? tell me i gotta wild desire oh oh oh i’m on fire!”

That being said, I can’t listen to him much anymore since he went all woke going public for “transgender” bathrooms.
He and Bryan Adams.
The Canadian government should apologize for Bryan...(cue)
Touche’

Saw this a while back.. Hopefully the telecaster is okay.
Garth Queer Beer Brooks
What a hill to die on for him .....

No; they’re deniable. I hear no influence of any of his music in any new music. Not to mention, he’s highly derivative, sounding either like Van Morrison or Bob Dylan on earlier material and adopting a “wall of sound” style during the middle part of his career.
