Liberals will love it, they need to virtue signal to everyone who sees them.
The attraction is that it’s even uglier than the Cyber Truck, if that’s even possible.

This reminds me of nothing so much as Victoria’s Secret marketing decision to use trannies, fat women, and Skank Rapinoe as the best way to reach their core customer base.

Good way for Nissan to go woke and broke. There will be no return on capital investment. Corporations who follow the Disney model ( make movies that offend and most people dislike) go broke. Most people simply do not want unreliable, short range EVs. They will not entrust their well being to these vehicles. Virtue signaling is a luxury most cannot afford.

Most concept cars are radically toned down by the time they hit market.
Here is the Plymouth Espresso concept car from 1994 (later a Neon Espresso was released):

Sad to say, but I’d probably trust Nissan with that data more than my own government.

Most everything Datsun makes is somewhat goofy and creepy. No idea what their TV commercials are like, but they used to be execrable and clearly aimed at flakes.
The jewke thing being near the top and that cube thing being prime examples of very strange ideas.
The old 510 was about the only normal car I can remember. They even sold SCCA race parts for them.
