During an appearance on CNN, host Abby Phillip asked Clapper if he believed Trump had an “enemies list” and whether other high-ranking officials could be targeted if Trump regains power.
Phillip asked:
“Tonight, the former president of the United States, who is currently a candidate for office again, is suggesting that the ongoing, outgoing Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff should be e**cuted,” Phillip began in her question.
“Donald Trump referred to reports that General Mark Milley was going to war in China if Trump decided to launch an attack, posting on social media that this is an act so egregious that in times gone by, the punishment would have been d**th.”
“Let’s discuss this with CNN National Security Analyst James Clapper. He’s the former Director of National Intelligence. Director Clapper, Trump saying that he will, would ecute, or that we should ecute the nation’s top general. Have we become numb to all of this?”
Clapper responded:
“Well, yeah, I mean, since we have, you know, this is shocking, stunning, despicable, egregious, et cetera, but not surprising.”
“It’s really reprehensible for that to have been said. Joe Milley served this country with a long and with great distinction, 43 years.”
“Like all of us, he took the oath, and it bears repeating,” Clapper added.

This expression of fear is essentially an admission that he (Clapper) lied about Trump and Russiagate. Leon Panetta, a co-conspirator in the lie, has admitted to lying. I hope these fellows have a $100 million or so to defend themselves in court.
Clapper should have already been hanged for his treason.

I agree. He should have been tried fairly, resulting in a conviction, and punished to the fullest possible extent of the law, as allowed under our legal codes.
He even STILL has a security clearance. He will never be punished.

Detective Columbo....Just one thing is bugging me James, is there any reason you would be on president Trumps “ enemies list”?, did you do something malicious to him or his family? If there is such a list, why would you be on it?
