They Don't Care How They Get There, or Who's In Charge

Posted on 10/19/2023 5:47:52 AM PDT by cotton1706

They just want to get to November 17th.

That's their goal.

Because once they get there, they will extend FULL GOVERNMENT FUNDING to January..."to give themselves time"

They don't care who's in charge, be it Kevin McCarthy (54% Liberty score) or Patrick McHenry (54% Liberty score) or Steve Scalise (58% Liberty score) or even Hakeem Jeffries.

They don't care about how much time they're wasting or what machinations they need to go through.

They're just biding time until they get to November 17th, just as they bided time to get to September 30th.

The chairmen aren't working on bills in the mean time, you'll notice. They don't feel they need to, because November 17th is coming up quick.

Patrick McHenry is allowing ONE vote per day. Biding time.

They don't care how they get there. Or who's in charge.

As long as they get there, and government funding is extended with no changes, mission accomplished.

The GOP House members are showing they especially do not care about the voters who elected them.

The GOP squandered their power when they controlled the House and Senate and Trump was President, because too many of them did not like Trump.

It has only gone downhill from there.

There should be yearly continuing operating budgets for things with broad bipartisan support, continuing special project budgets, and initial funding budgets prepared in that order of priority.

The yearly continuing operating budgets would simply have numbers that change annually. It would be simple to keep most of government in operation and avoid broad shutdowns.

Why should they? More and more it is apparent that our government has only the veneer of democratic input. Most house districts are gerrymandered to such an extent that only one party can ever win it and 90% of the time that party’s candidate is going to be the incumbent.

Even when the incumbent is not running the primaries are a competition of spending and attention. How many people even get close to their congress person much less know them or known by them? Congressional Representative districts are far too big to truly represent.

Congress represents those who can bring them money and votes. That means they work for their party (which controls their district boundaries and committee seats), special interest voting blocks (unions and other vote organizers), and big donors and PACs that provide money. You and I never factor into the calculations. Who else are we gonna vote for anyways?

“The GOP House members are showing they especially do not care about the voters who elected them.”

***********

That’s been evident for a long time. They only want our votes and our money, but not our principles and values.

The Military Industrial Complex dictates how all this will end. They fully own our pseudo proxy government. Jordan and Trump are not part of the “War profit team” so the team will pull their own teeth if they have to in order to keep him out.

This is why if there was ever a time in our history to stand ground against these criminals it is right now. Their “business as usual” momentum McCain talked about must be broken even if temporarily. Right now Jordan is that best wrench to throw in the machine.

“Who is in charge of the clattering train?”

The Globalists and the Military Industrial Complex war machine. The Globalists want to reduce population, and the MIC wants to supply the means to do so.

It is just that simple... Has been for many years now.

Who is in charge of the clattering train?
The axles creak, and the couplings strain.
For the pace is hot, and the points are near,
And Sleep hath deadened the driver’s ear:
And signals flash through the night in vain.
Death is in charge of the clattering train!

-- Edward James Milliken. 1890

Appropos for today, isn't it?
