The legendary Buffalo Bills wider receiver, Andre Reed, is not having a pleasuring stay in the United Kingdom, as himself stated on his Twitter/X account that he had his Hall of Fame ring, along with other belongings, from his hotel room in London while he was away attending to an event.
Reed was present in the UK doing press as the Bill lost against the Jacksonville Jaguars 25-20 last Sunday at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as he remained in the United Kingdom for the week.
In his Twitter/X account, Reed mentioned that not only his Hall of Fame ring was substracted, but also jewelry, passports, purses, and clothes, not only belonging to him but to his wife Theresa, saying that somebody entered his hotel room.
Reed himself says that the British police are on the case already trying to recover his belongings, but he admits that he 'is feeling unsafe and violated' and also 'scared'. He also said that the US Embassy issued him emergency passports.
Reed is widely recognized as one of the NFL's finest wide receivers ever, as he played almost his entire career with the Buffalo Bills, earning 7 Pro Bowl selections during his career, and helping the Bills to reach four consecutive Super Bowls between 1990 and 1993, unfortunately losing all of them.
At the time of his retirement, Reed was second in all-time NFL career receptions, currently ranking 9th and 15th in all-time touchdown receptions.
Good thing they didn’t get his Superbowl ring...oh wait.

It was likely an ‘asylum seeker’ who arrived by boat across the channel... Apparently, they put them up at local hotels and supply them with accommodations until their ‘asylum’ claim is processed... Which typically takes several years.
They can’t work, but they can steal stuff and get jobs under the table while receiving a monthly check to cover their additional living expenses.
It’s a pretty good gig... And if you do eventually get the boot, you just get back on another boat and start all over again.

They had one 30 something ‘asylum’ seeker who claimed he was a teenager... Put him at some poor families house, and he went to high school pretending to be a teen... Turns out he was wanted in Bulgaria for sexual assault... Go figure?

So a name athlete attending a highly advertised event checks into a hotel room, decides not to take anything that would identify him in a foreign country, leaves it and all his and his wife’s major jewelry in the room rather than locking it in the hotel safe, high value items they should have left at home if they weren’t going to take it to the event for props, and he is upset someone broke into a room and took some things? Idiocy is rampant.
