Is it too late to expand the College Football Playoff to 12 teams for the 2023 season?
As we’re now halfway through the final season of the four-team format, it’s becoming very clear that the playoff is expanding a year too late. There are at least 10 teams who look capable of winning the national title through the first seven weeks of the season. If there were a 12-team playoff this season, here’s what the field would look like at the moment, in our opinion. The four quarterfinal games would be exceptional.

Well I really liked Urban Meyer but that ship sailed. I think he was completely setup and Day helped, he got the job and has made too many coaching errors.
If the Buckeyes don’t win against Michigan this year, Day’s head will be on the chopping block, I feel certain. So you may get your wish.
I think there will be a problem in who replaces him. Being head coach at Ohio State is a tough job. I have no idea who is fit for the job next.
