Dallas Fair Park is right smack in the middle of south Dallas. I remember shootings were routine in the nearby hood. We never evacuated entire blocks just becomes someone was shot or was popping off rounds.
They search pretty thoroughly at that fair upon entrance.

Yep. In Wisconsin, we had a similar issue about 10 years ago when a group of “teens” began causing mayhem.
DALLAS (CBSNewsTexas.com) - The State Fair of Texas is being evacuated after a reported shooting, according to the Dallas Police Department.
Details are limited as the situation is active; however, police say one suspect is in custody.
The State Fair also issued an Emergency Order alerting to the evacuation.

I don’t know. I live in Dallas, local news broke in and said it happened in food court between two groups who knew each other.
I had taken the kids to the fair that day. They took Big Tex and laid him out in the ground. It was creepy. Every single Big Tex souvenir sold out that day.
Could be information warfare, though Israel does depend upon their drones for targeting, battle damage assessment, and tracking of high priority individuals.
