That was Oct 2012 when Big Tex burned. I posted on Facebook that I thought it was terrorists. A lot of people believed me.
I had taken the kids to the fair that day. They took Big Tex and laid him out in the ground. It was creepy. Every single Big Tex souvenir sold out that day.
