ten bucks says she got a lap-band, and dint stop eating like a horse
the pouch stretched out and slipped the band, and now she needs it adjusted/replaced
and that’s on her...
I have a friend who went through this kind of surgery; but she didn’t stop eating all the same stuff - heavy carbs, white stuff (bready things, potatoes, sugary, doughy treats, etc.)
She has lost a LOT of weight, but I don’t think she’s really much healthier.
You’re probably right. In which case, she should owe the money.
If you don’t stop stuffing your face when your stomach can literally hold a saltine cracker and six ounces of water then rupture the band (or your stomach stretches), that’s on you.
Wrong. Try reading the article.
“She had sleeve gastrectomy surgery, where a large part of the stomach is removed and left behind is a narrow ‘sleeve’.”
