Today, the U.S., just like yesterday, last year and for decades prior, does not have any American interest in Ukraine. Ukraine and Zeepers go to hell. Not one more dime.

I guess you are not aware that Ukranians have a history of immigration to the US and Canada. The 2021 census indicated almost 400,000 Ukranian immigrants in the US and over 700,000 who claimed Ukrainian ancestry. Since in the past 2 centuries Ukraine has been variably possessed by countries like Austria, Hungary, Poland, and Russia, it is estimated there could easily be 1.5 to 2 million Americans with Ukrainian ancestry who listed one of those other countries when they entered the US.
The link below describes various waves of immigration, conditions that caused Ukranians to come here, the building of a vital collection of community organizations, places and kinds of employment, and citizens of note with Ukrainian roots.

" Today, the U.S., just like yesterday, last year and for decades prior, does not have any American interest in Ukraine.
Ukraine and Zeepers go to hell.
Not one more dime." None of that us true.
In fact, the U.S. has officially guaranteed Ukrainian security since the Budapest agreement in 1994 -- almost 30 years ago, under Pres. Clinton.
Slick William also supported Russia's membership in NATO.
Pres. Bush II recommended NATO membership for Ukraine and Georgia.
Pres. Obama sent supplies to help Ukraine against Russia in 2014.
Pres. Trump sent highly lethal weapons to Ukraine beginning in 2017 and pretend Pres. Biden has increased such aid many fold since February 2022.
Increasing US aid to Ukraine goes back at least 30 years.
US interest in Ukraine includes several factors:
- Relative to Russia, Ukraine is the more genuine constitutional democracy, is less corrupt or ruled over by a murderous dictator.
- Ukrainians love Europe, the EU and NATO more than Russians ever did.
Ukrainians want to be independent Europeans, not slaves to Asian Russians. - In 1994 the USA formally guaranteed Ukrainian sovereignty in the Budapest Memorandum.
- Ukraine was invaded, unprovoked, by Russians, twice now, in 2014 and again in 2022.
No western country recognises the legitamacy of Vlad the Invader's "Special Military Operations". - Vlad's invasion is not just a "one-of" exception, rather it's his normal behavior towards virtually all his neighbors, including Georgia and Moldova invaded plus a long list of others he's threatened.
- There is a new "Axis of Evil" growing ever more powerful in the world, beginning with Vlad the Invader and the CCP's Xi-snake, and including Little Kim and the Moolah Mullahs plus others.
All are aggressive, brutal dictators only constrained by the U.S. and our allies' strengths -- military, economic, political and social.
All can smell weakness, fear and disunion amongst us and will move aggressively against us the moment they believe we are too weak to stop them. - Ukraine is only one place among many we've been challenged.
If we fail in Ukraine, each new challenge will become that much more difficult to defeat.
That is the lesson taught in the deaths of millions after the 1930s, and should not ever need re-teaching.
