This is a vanity.
My male short haired domestic is cheating out.
Thanks.

Still reeling here from a loss in September. It’s miserable. Good health and long life to Tiger.
Our Siamese did that at about 15. Vet had us using baby food to stimulate eating.
Heartbreaking to lose such a close friend.
Please correct the post to “checking out.”
Thanks.

I am partial to domestic shorthairs, and I love the markings on Tiger. Just beautiful. They look happy and content...what more can you ask for?
This was Boots...he was a crazy boy, and had lots of toes:
My wife could see that I was sad, and pining a bit, and one day I came home from work, and she said "I got something for you-be careful going in the bathroom."
When I carefully opened the door, I saw two little kittens in the bathroom sink, snuggled together...brothers from the same litter...here they are grown up (Admiral Halsey and Mister Inky) this is my favorite picture:
So, yes. Enjoy them, treat them right. Their time is not as long as ours, it is true, but in the right hands, they can live a grand life!
And this is my computer background...:)
So sorry...so hard to lose our furry friends. Godspeed.
That’s a good, long stretch. Prayers that your pet’s remaining time is peaceful and pain-free.
They are family. Our oldest was 17. We had to put her down, she was so sick.
She was preceded by her sister, who made it to 15, but died from feline leukemia. We have two more now. Charlie is 4, Coco is going on 9.
What would we do without them…
Enjoy the time you have left, they are precious.
Tiger looks just like our Charlie, except for the white paws and legs.
That’s very sad BipolarBob and I am sorry for your loss. I’ve been exactly there more than once, and have a collection of markers where I can see them from my bedroom window, and remember. If Sinatra made it to 21, you did quite right by your friend. He’ll always be just a thought away.
Very sorry that you are facing this situation. You obviously love Tiger to the max. I hope that he hangs in there with you for a good while.
I have always admired the beauty in those markings...:)
When it's Tiger's time, he will let you know, and you can then help ease him out of his pain of this life and onto the Rainbow Bridge. Again, I weep for you.
Post 47.
Tiger in front, lady in the back.

Wonderful kitty photos! Tiger is very handsome. Thank you and rlmorel for sharing fur baby pics.
Nice-looking cats. Our orange tabby Henry (short for Dr. Henry Metzger) looks like Boots except that he’s heavier and has no extra toes. Our youngest two (gray tabbies) are brothers, George and Percival, now two years old. They were ferals; we got them at about 8 weeks. George is pretty affectionate now, but Percy will always be shy.
Cats are great. I can’t imagine not having a few around, but my wife and I are getting to the age where we have to start thinking about them outliving us. Don’t know what we’ll do about that.
