When the covid pandemic first made headlines, I recall viewing a NJ based infectious disease physician stating that Hydroxychloroquine was a “game changer,” in his words. Once Trump endorsed it as a treatment, however, it was all downhill from there, and anyone prescribing it was labeled a quack, or worse.
The reason the CDC did not want ANY alternative treatments is that by law, if such treatments are available, the emergency use authorization has to be revoked.

My money is still on Ivermectin being more effective. I went from terrible shape to nearly over it in less than 48 hours. Stuff is a miracle drug.
